Areus | Stallion | Single | Mentions: Taleia, Diego Pain erupted in Areus' side as Taleia's hoof lashed out at him, wincing before he nuzzled her cheek. A small snort of laughter erupted from his flared nostrils. Even when the brindled mare was clearly in pain, she still had that same sense of humor he fell in love with. "Honestly. At least our baby will know what 'handsome' really means." His tone was light, teasing, but there was a tinge of worry on the edge of his voice. It hurt him to see Taleia in agony, but he supposed it was part of the miracle of birth. As the mare struggled to stand, the painted stallion helped to steady her, his ears pinned flat against his head. She shouldn't be moving, not while she was trying to birth their foal. The cave would be the safest place to be, but if she needed air, Areus couldn't stop her. Maybe it would help. "I'm sorry, love. You know I worry..." He murmured softly, carefully guiding the smaller mare to the mouth of the cave.

(Sorry, I've been busy with school and family recently) Shade/ mare/ single/ M: Acre, Storm, Noda, Dawn, others (ind) Seeing a large, strange stallion coming towards her, Shade released a small whinny of fear and surprise. She trotted up to him confidently, showing she was by no means afraid of the towering fellow. Shaking her strawberry mane, and her tail flowing behind her as she moved, she called out, "What's your name, and what are you doing here?" When he replied, she gave him a small, welcoming smile. "Well, I'm pleased to meet you, Acre. I don't really know where the rest of my herd is, if we really even are a herd." She stared at the ground in uncertainty, wondering if Storm and the others would appreciate her telling details about themselves. She decided against it, figuring this stallion would figure it out when he did. She turned, leading him back to where she'd met the others, and wondering how they would react to him all the way. Up ahead, she saw a paint mare (Dawn) calling out towards where Storm and Noda were together, so she introduced herself to this beautiful lady, then led both the new stallion and mare towards where she'd seen Storm and Noda earlier. "Storm!" she called out, "Noda? I found some lone horses, and I'm not really sure what to do with them." If she was being honest with herself, Shade felt the whole situation was rather awkward as she walked up to Storm and Noda with the two trailing her. Acre/ Stallion/ Single/ M: Shade, Dawn, Storm, Noda, others (ind) As the creamy mare greeted him confidently, Acre almost felt she towered over him rather than the other way around. He tried showing off his majesty in attempts to intimidate her, but his efforts seemed rather futile. He followed her like an obedient yearling, hating himself the whole way. When they bumped into the beautiful paint mare, he couldn't help but scan her form briefly while introducing himself before continuing after the two under the trees. Hearing the creme mare, Shade, introduce the two of them made Acre feel awkward and embarrassed for her. She seemed rather unsure of herself, which, from his brief experience, was out of her character. He ignored it, focusing on the strange-looking stallion (Storm) and the lovely red mare (Noda) standing in front of him, and offering his most charming smile as he stood his full 17.2 hh proudly. Dawn/ mare/ single/ M: Storm, Noda, Shade, Acre, Others (ind) Dawn tried to hold herself tall as two strange horses approached her, but she couldn't help but cower. The large stallion, handsome as he was, was quite terrifying. While the mare, though not much taller than Dawn herself, seemed like a towering figure. Dawn couldn't help but think, Will they attack me on site? Am I on their territory? Are they rabid? Am I at risk of their wild horse diseases? She shook her long mane, trying to shake away the thoughts with it. All too soon, the horses had reached her and introduced themselves. Dawn blushed as she felt the stallion sizing her up... or perhaps admiring her? She didn't know, and didn't care, as she was too busy being scared of the two. She managed to whisper out her name, and prayed that they didn't notice the very fresh gaping wound on her shoulder. She sighed as they moved past her, too caught up in their excitement to notice the blood flowing rather freely from her hide. She followed them into the wood, keeping herself quiet and small, trying everything she could to avoid looking challenging. The last ting she could ask for was a fight with these wild horses. She simply blinked at the strange stallion (Storm) and the mare beside him (Noda) as the creme mare, Shade, introduced her and the tall stallion. SALLY/MARE/SINGLE SALLY paused in her steps, her left front leg almost falling from below her. Blinking her hues she sighs, lowering herself down knowing she could no longer move forward. Her eyes closed and she fell asleep, her head laying near a patch of flowers. All she was thankful for was her wounds had long ago stopped bleeding so she was alive. Yet as she slept she dreamt of her mother, as if said mare was waiting for her. Opening her hues she sighs struggling to stand only to fall again her body had gone too long without food or water shaking her head she looked to the sky relaxing where she was.

Noda | Mare | 4Y | Single?? | Mentions: Storm, Shade, Acre, Dawn, OPEN Noda allowed her gaze to remain on the pale mare as she strolled away, avoiding having to look at Storm and face her feelings for as long as she could. She listened to his apology, so sweet, she couldn't help but smile. Her bright orbs floated up to Storm's face shyly. "No, don't apologize ... thank you. You told me a part of my life that I never would have known if you hadn't told me." she paused, thinking of her next words. "I just ... I don't know how to feel about it is all. Just feels ... wrong?" Her cough choked down her real words, hiding her true feelings beneath her smile. The last thing she needed to do right now was speak to freely about emotions she has yet to untangle. Storm deserves better than that. And as Shade reaproached them with more horses, she knew the rest of this conversation was best left for a different time.
"who is this?" Noda spoke up first, flattening her audits tightly against her skull, snorting at the cheeky stud rather full of himself. Had she (Shade) never been a part of a herd before? Did she not know that you never reveal your friends to strangers? No. She is young, it was not fair for the mare to judge her so harsh. Noda pushed herself from Storm's side, showing she could stand on her own, despite being the smallest of this gathering of giants. To say they were not intimidating would be a lie but Noda would hold her ground regardless. Especially when she knew Storm was there to have her back.
