Phantom walked back in "sora you know you can't go kick vets. And you do need the Martin Gail your just to cocky for your own good" phantom said rolling his eyes. He and sora had been stalled next to each other when he'd been in here those months

Mystery looked at Phantom, a light smile hitting her face, she couldn't hide the amused smile as she glanced at Sorra "I'm sure you did great!" She tried to make up for grinning at her.

She looked around her surroundings, the stable building beginning to feel bigger and making her feel smaller, she looked at Phantom for a moment before looking away "How long till I can get back to my herd?" She asked quietly

"Phantom shut up.Have you ever had one of your past owners put a martingale on so tight you could'nt breath and passed out while getting whipped?!I suppose not.And also they said I did perfect.Apperently im gonna be jumping again.It's just rehab for now.Can't jump how high I used to.It's sad to me." She admitted sadly.

Phantom looked at sora "you know I was a rodeo horse sora. I'd love to have had a martingale put on instead of being a bronc. It's not fun." He said. "When the vets clear you mystery" phantom had an idea. "Sora next time if you put the martingale on for the vets I'll come and do your exercises with you"

"Hah!Have enough endurance to run and jump for about 3-4 miles?We've been increasing my runs every friday.Tommarow I can finnaly jump high again!If everything goes all right im gonna be entering a 3*** XC show soon.It's gonna suck though.Because let me tell you,that vet check,scares the crap out of me.Why?My father had to be put down AT THE VET CHECK,because of a really bad and suprisingly painless abcess." She said.

"sora i made you a deal and i need an answer" he said as he walked over to her stall. "plus this gives me a chance to beat you at jumping again"

(ok lowkey confused wdym again?like did phantom and sorra know eachother?I like the idea but uhm,Sorra is a 5 eventer and is REALLY good at what she does.not trying to sound extra or anything but i did not mention that on my sign up sheet so there's that lol) '"Yeah,back when I was a 3* like you currently are.Im a 5* now.The best of the best.Oh and also there won't be any breaks this time.I remember last time I took like one break because we were practicing for like what,2 hours??Lets see how long you last now.Bigger jumps,longer track,higher level.Now,if you'll excuse me,my runout is waiting for me." Sorra walked out into the mini pasture by her stall. -He won't last an hour.-

(Yea when phantom 'died' he was actually in the vets for like a year and a bit)

phantom had gotten stronger and better, Just as good as sora, he'd been jumping higher logs for longer and was sure he could have a chance at beating sora this time

(oh ok! That makes SO MUCH more sense now.i was lowkey confused lol)

The next day arrived and Sorra was taken and got all her tack on.Saddle pad,Half pad,Splint boots,Ear bonnet,Bridle,Breastcollar and martingale.She was ready to jump."Alright let's start with a small little picnic table jump.Pretty easy not hard guys." Aiden said.[Sorra's trainer] "C'mon Sorra.Let's see if you can still jump after being hurt." Clay [Sorra's Rider/Owner].Clay speeded towards the jump.Time slowed down to what felt like slow motion.She landed smoothly and continued to the bridge.Clay clicked to Sorra and she immedeitly got the message.-This is scary- Sorra continued and stopped before the jump.Clay fell off to the side softly.He got up,dusted off his breeches,and grabbed Sorra's bridle before unclipping one rein to lead her by the jump to show her it was not infact scary.Sorra nuzzled Clay's hand as if saying,I'm sorry.Clay hopped back on and they cleared the jump.They both watched as Phantom stumbled upon landing but regained his footing."Okay people gather around gather around!We're gonna try a course today.It's a 4* course but,it's the same course that we'll have at the show okay?Ya'll should know the course so,I have a jar of number pins.Whoever has one,clip it on your bridle,grab a walkie talkie,and get at the front of the line.Clay pulled a pin out.-How conveniant,we're first.Eh,whatever Phantom's second so he'll be right behind us.- Clay grabbed a walkie talkie and guided Sorra to the starting gait before letting her take off.She stumbled after landing on jump 29a but regained her footing before striding to 29b.-Last jump,let's do this!- Sorra sped up towards the jump,Clay gave a little nudge,she jumped the massive wooden oxer and! Got her foot caught on the railing and had a horrible fall. "AIDEN!WE NEED THE VET'S ON JUMP 45 NOW!SORRA FELL AND CAN"T GET UP!HURRY!" Clay yelled into the walkie talkie. "Sorra your gonna be fine." He looked over her.-Bloody nose,Blood on her flank,where's the cut?Oh wow.That's,a big cut. -Eventually the vet's got there and loaded her onto a horse ambulance and took her into immediate surgery.-Please be alright Sorra,Please!Gosh this is gonna be so expensive.I need to go home and think.The thinking between me and me.- Clay got his phone and called his wife."Hey,gonna be at the barn for a little bit longer.Sorra got hurt really bad.Call me when you can." Where was she?What was she even doing?The vet came out."She's gonna be asleep from the anesthesia for about 12 more hours.Took some X-Rays and nothing broken.Let's just stay off of her back for 1 week.You can still lunge her and long rein her but not ride her.We suggest you stay at a 3-4**** level." The vet told him."Ok." Clay left and went straight to Sorra's stall and cried.Cried because of how expensive the bill was.Cried because he was scared she would'nt make it.Cried because he was frustrated he decided to go to this lesson.Cried because it was his fault he pushed her too much. "Im sorry Sorra.Im so sorry!"
