Sawyer sucked backwards his eyebrows raised, pressing his back into the couch as Gabi got really close. He tried not to focus on her face, so he wouldn't become distracted, when she was this close. Placing a hand on her shoulder, Sawyer pushed her back and stood himself. "Why do you think you made me mad?" Sawyer asked, half curious, half avoiding a real answer. (Sawyer is asking this as like a why do you think it was you and not me or the days events, not what did you do that made me mad).

She flinched at his touch when she saw his hand coming at her. When he pushed her back she stood up and backed up. When he asked the question she arched a brow at him. "Why do i think i made you mad? Because, you were all flirty and cheary one second, i suggest we get some rest, and you a go back to your sarcastic ways like that and you sound like you're mad at something, so i'm assuming it was me." She told him as she backed up.

Sawyer flinched at Gabi's anger, but heard her out quietly. He took a step back and sat back down on the couch, tensing his jaw, with his elbows on his knees. Sawyer sat like that for a bit his head in his hands. "Okay." Sawyer said. "I've never done this before. None of it. Not the kissing, not the touching, your nervous, I'm nervous, I really didn't want to freak you out. Then I push it again, and you have some excuse, and I messed it up, pushed to far. So, I'm mad at myself, with myself, because of myself, but definitely not because of you. I was really trying to hide it early, bit I just can't. I have no idea what I'm doing." Sawyer finished, kinda ranting.

Remember when they thought they were going to die and kissed each other, I'm going with that being Sawyers first.

Gabriella listened and blinked. She hadn't ment to sound angry, she was just confused and wanted to know what happened. She listened to him and chuckled softly. She looked at Sawyer with a softness in her eyes. "You didn't push to much, i know how to say no if i don't want something." She replied then went and sat on the coffee table in front of him. "I ment nothing by backing off and saying we should get some rest, i was afraid i was being to pushy and to brave to do what i did." She admitted softly slidding her hand in his to try and get him to relax.

Sawyer sorta listened to her speak. His thoughts were kinda running crazy. He was looking down with his shoulder hunched. When Gabi touch his hand, her fingers brushed his palm and wrist. Not expecting it Sawyer jerked away. "Sorry," he said quietly. "Me hands are a touchy spot." He raised a hand to show the scars all over his palm and moving down his wrist to his forearm.

When Sawyer jerked back it scared her and she copied his action. She folded her hands in her lap and looked down slightly and said sorry at the same time as Sawyer. She kept her eyes down till Sawyer spoke then she looked up. She followed the white line from his palm to his wrist then down to his forearm. She nodded and looked at Sawyer. Her gaurd had come up a little again, but she couldn't help it. She was a nervous wreck when someone had seen her with her gaurd down. She knew she could trust Sawyer though.

Sawyer glanced down at the scars crossing Gabi's own arms. Taking a deep breath, he relaxed his shoulders, and dropped the guard. His blue eye showing vulnerability. Then scouted forward on the couch so his knees were pressed against Gabi's and took her left hand and laced their fingers.

She felt him do so and she felt her arm tighten up slightly then she relaxed and looked up as him. She couldn't help but run her thumb over his hand softly. "How did you get it?" She asked very softly and quietly as she looked up at him slightly. It was big, slightly bigger then any she had seen before.

"That one." Sawyer said softly. "Was actually an accident. I happened when I was pretty young. I had fellen and reach out to grab something, got the lamp and the glass cut me pretty good."

Sawyer looked at the scars for a second, remembering. "It was a bad afternoon. A lot of alcohol. He came home super pissed and took it out of me. I actually stitched it myself." Sawyer said the corner of his lip twitching a bit. "Hurt like a bitch."
