Night, it's about flesh eating horses that live in the ocean. When they venture onto land, people catch them and attempt to train them for a big race. It doesn't always go well for the trainers or riders, or anyone else who just happens to be on the beach at the time. One person dares to enter an ordinary horse into the race because she is desperate for the prize money.

Yes! Period trackers can be helpful but so many of them have to give up user information! There is one app called "Flo" that hates that the government can control this. They have an option for you to go into a secret mode where none of your information is shared or even on the app. It's literally just you putting in your period dates/notes/etc. and you can use the app like any other app user. Just none of your information is there or connected. This includes your email addresses, address, name, phone number etc. And everything is anonymous anyways so you should be good to use that app. Still, I recommend being cautious in those states where it is illegal to get an abortion because odd period dates can make you a potential target. It's a pain in the arse to track it physically sometimes (and to not be able to have access to reproductive health info) but it may be necessary depending on where you live.

Uh, Wait WHAT!

This is like the realm of Sci-Fi - Big Brother

Are there factual statements, articles, sources where it is confirmed that the Government is concerned and/or tracking individuals who use menstruation tracker apps?

It just sounds as outrageous to me as the Gay Registration (Muggle Registration anyone?)

Do we spam look up Planned Parenthood and other woman's health organizations - reroute IP addresses to those states (didn't that happen for the Texas Abortion deal?). The invasion on privacy is getting to be totally out of control.

I recommend looking up 'delete your period tracker' or searches along those lines. There is a bunch of info out there

Yes it is very real and very true. Some of thr apps have gone so far as to send emails to users and explain what can happen and what they are doing to fix the problem. The government can request to pull information from the apps on certain people to try and track if there was a miscarriage and/or abortion if it is illegal in that state. It is very real and a very serious issue. You can Google is and find a whole bunch of articles on it. If you have Instagram you may have also seen posts on it.

I completely view this decision not only as a loss of abortion, but a loss of women's rights in general. We are continuing to be a country run by racist, homophobic white men, and i HATE it. We're going back to the '50s and we are past the that, and should continue to be. I mean abortion is legal in fucking china and russia. We need to completely refresh our government to a place where women have a large role and can be the majority of decisions. Also, the government needs to have LGBTQ+ members, and be a place that represents that it is acceptable, and supported.

Wow there are a lot of really garbage takes here. I'm not gonna call anyone specifically out, but some of these are really not great.

1. You don't get to make the choice for another person's body. End of discussion. Really, end of it. Whether you think someone should have an abortion or not is irrelevant, it's not your body and you don't get to govern it. Your personal beliefs, religion, stances, and views do not matter. At all. You don't get to make this choice for people.

2. Children are not a punishment. By saying only certain people are eligible for abortions, you're insinuating that those who get pregnant even though they weren't careful, even though they don't want to, should be made to carry to term simply because of the fact that their s-x was unprotected. That's disgusting. That's essentially saying you shouldn't have s-x unless you have the means to afford a child, which is classist at least and a bunch of other things at most that make you look ignorant.

3.Life doesn't begin at conception. Sorry. Cell division =/= human life. It just doesn't. Electrical impulses =/= heartbeat. Sorry, it just doesn't. people on both sides of the issue can find biased scientific studies that lean towards one side or the other until the cows come home, but the reality is that unless it is viable outside of the womb, it's not a life. It's just a bunch of cells developing. (Personal opinion: until that clump of cells gains a functioning consciousness that can be gagued, it isn't a human. It's cells.)

4. A lot of these talking points are what these walking garbage heaps of humans that overturned the ruling use to justify their opression of people. This was never about 'oh the poor babies that are being murdered,' it's about keeping women/afab people down. It's about control. It's about keeping the impoverished in poverty so they can't claw their way out and better things. It's so they can keep lining their pockets with prison labor and wage slavery. It's about greed and power, full stop.

Regardless of your opinion on the matter, you, nor anyone else, get to decide what another person does with their body. You can't even force a corpse to give up its organs if it wasn't consented to before death. At this point, someone who is pregnant has less bodily autonomy than a dead body. Think about that one the next time you're shaming someone for wanting to preserve their autonomy. Think about that the next time you think to yourself that 'it shouldn't be used as a form of birth control.'

You're granting a living, breathing person less autonomy than a dead one.

That's absolutely beyond messed up.

Thiiiiiiiiiis.
