Too much stress for me this year. Can't wait for summer break, this school year has been hell. The only positive thing is that school is out after next week. So, next week is finals. I really want to take a break this week, but I can't. I've gotten at least 20 pages of my science textbook to review and a couple of units for Spanish finals. Not to mention my parents pressuring me. This year, I've been pleasantly well. I've gotten a 4.0-4.5 GPA for this last trimester along with 4.0-4.5 GPAs this entire school year. I've studied a lot to mantain my GPA, and took a ton of AP classes. I'm not used to studying so much, so my mental health took a huge toll. On top of everything, I've gotten really senstive to noise. I can't focus well, I keep bothering everyone to stay quiet when I study. It makes me feel super bad since I normally don't do this. I can't wait for finals to be over, so I can relax. Does anyone have any suggestions to focus better? I've tried listening to music and white noise. Lastly, I can't wait for in person school next August. A lot of my classmates love online school, but not me. There are so many more distractions at home, and I would prefer a conductive learning environment. I feel lethargic at around 10pm after being on my computer all day for school, and I used to study until midnight before online school. Thankfully, my school is opening in person for the next school year and I already have my covid vaccine :) Sorry for the long rant, and thank you in advance to whoever reads this! :) |

Aw Moony that sounds like a lot of stress indeed. I know you work very hard and keep going, you're almost to sweet relaxation! Maybe noise cancelling head phones? Also if you have a favorite spot outside (I really love going to the beach and sitting on one of the rock outcroppings), just taking some deep breaths really calms me down. Ah also I 100% recommend blue light glasses if you don't already have them. I got them as a Christmas gift and holy wow its made online school a LOT more pleasant. Bon courage! <3 |
