That does look good. I just got in from rebedding my girls stall. I'm not sure if stall rest is the way to go with her injury but the rain hasn't left me much option

Wheezing. So, redid Oklahoma's stall area and was scratching her on the neck in that groove by the esophagus. Made her do the 'that feels good' lip thing. Mom later told me that Oklahoma doesn't like being touched there. This damn horse is turning into the plot of a YA horse book.

Am I supposed to enter some horse show, be the complete under dog, and wind grand champion?

I definitely am! We actually move our furniture in tomorrow and I'm hoping that will help. I just know all our furniture is from my partners grandparents and will be old/dated. So I want to upgrade as much as I can

Lol maybe interior design is the wrong word. I'm referring to just trying to furnish our new house

My cousin is an interior designer and when I talked to her about it she made it sound like it is mostly about making sure buildings are up to code and follow protocol.

Like we have a red accent wall which I love and the kitchen/living room is white and grey. I thought it would be easy but it aint 😂

@Two, same. A good camera for photographing wildlife though costs a lot, so I won't be able to afford one until I graduate in 2 years.

I would love to get a real camera one day. I love photographing nature.

That was taken with a superzoom camera a friend of mine owns. I have debated getting one myself, but I wonder if I would be better off getting a real camera (one with a lense and whatnot).

I have a five-year-old female Portuguese water dog named Minnow.
She comes from a serious breeder whom we know and trust. Her siblings are all healthy show dogs and pets.
-
Saturday, she was diagnosed with Lymphoma, and we were told that she only has six months left before she passes.
It's so hard leaving her alone at the house.. i just get so worried.
What if that was the last time I'd see her?
I feel guilty doing anything without her. I want to give her the best 6 months of her life. It's so sad because I was looking into so many plans for the future that she would have loved to be here for. I'm buying a ski chalet up north, where she could play in the snow- her favorite thing.
I have a few friends who are getting puppies that could've become her best friends.
I need to remember she's not gone yet.
I just feel so bad, so terrible, so guilty. Could've I done something to help?
I'm sorry, Minnow.

oh girl, i really feel for you.
just remember that you still have time with her, and that she loves you. Try and do fun things with her at home, like making dog treats and maybe an at-home obstacle course! just have as much fun as you can.

Alrighty. It's been two years. Minnow passed away on October 15, 2022. Shortly after Minnow's passing, my family and I welcomed a lovely little PWD puppy named Nutmeg into the family. It was hard at first, but we quickly learned that we would not have been strong enough to come home to an empty house. I still cry about Minnow to this day. She was robbed of so much.
Nutmeg is so similar to her. I really think she carries part of Minnow with her. They're not related (as far as I know), but they have the same, spunky and sweet personality.
It's been bittersweet for sure.
Right now I'm at the new Ski Chalet with Nutmeg. She's played in the snow every day.
