I have a 10 gal that used to have a ton of cories. They blend in really well, and some liked to hide a lot. Like Ven said, I wouldn't worry about it. However if he doesn't appear at all, he'd obviously be deceased.

im just afraid he might die and i wont notice and then my tank will get gross
