My dad called me last night and I could tell by his voice something was wrong...apparently my family's cat Charlie got hit by a car and died. My mom found him...my little siblings (13, 11, 7 and 5) are devastated. I'd like to do something for them, I may just drawe a portrait for him, but if anyone has any other inexpensive ideas...? I have some very cute pictures of him...I thought about doing a cute little book which I would illustrate to make it more persoanal, but I'm not sure how to do so without spending a lot of $$ Also, a cat I had owned for a short time passed away recently. His name was AJ. He had tumors in his throat and his steroids stopped working. I'm happy he had a loving home with two sisters. When I had him he didn't like our other cats and was unhappy. He loved his new owners and always took naps with them and meowed for them when they left. RIP Charlie and AJ |

I'm so sorry for your loss Blackberry ): I know what it feels like to loose a pet. They become part of your family and it's horrible seeing them go... My heart goes out to you and your family <3 . I think the book is a really great idea. If you want, you could go buy a small tree/seeds or some sort of plant/flower and plant it in honor of him. . I know this is sort of silly, but when my cat died, my little brother "named" a star after him. The star most likely already had a name but it's now know as "Hobbs's" star to my entire family. :) |
