| Today really stunk :( In the middle of school I got really bad menstrual cramps. So bad that I was shaking, sweating, Could not breath and felt like I was going to throw up. My amazing firend brung me to the office. I had to call my dad to bring me home I bled through my pants. Any one eles had really bad cramps? | |

I used to get them really bad. But a trick I did before the fun started you might say is I would take pain killers a day or two a head of time to help control the cramps for when they started. Then the first day I would use a heating pad, soak in a hot tub, and drink hot tea to help as well. |

I took an advil but it didint help very mutch. Hot water bottles and tea helped when I was wating for the Tylenol to kick in.

Soaking in a hot bath will also help if you can do that. Advil usually didn't help me much unless I took about 3 or 4 of them at once. But then again I usually have to do that 2 times a day due to a few medical conditions. Midol will help as well if you can take take.

I used to have terrible cramps and would miss school a couple days every month. I actaully ended up going on birth control to manage the pain. It might be something to consider if your cramps are that severe. |

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago and a nice lady gave me some naproxen to try. It's the only painkiller that has been able to help my cramps when they get bad. I take two together and that usually kicks the pain for the rest of the day. Maybe something to try? |
