I see tons of people decorate for Christmas in October (before Halloween). So decorating in November even if it is before Thanksgiving is an improvement. XD Edited at November 17, 2022 07:58 PM by Silver Isle Eventing

Oh I seriously hate it when I see Christmas decor going up in stores before Halloween. I can take slightly before Thanksgiving a bit better, but either way it still annoys me. Reminds me of a comic I once saw where Tom Turkey called Santa a fatboy and told him to back up his (Tom's) holiday was up next and to wait in line.

In my family Thanksgiving is the main holiday. That's okay Brook, nothing against you!

With my family when I lived with them it was always Christmas as the favorite holiday, but they didn't put the decorations up until right after Thanksgiving. However since I see Christmas stuff up in stores before Halloween, I think I'm going to try to get stores to put out their Halloween stuff around the 4th of July lol. I think what annoys me the most about Christmas stuff coming out before Halloween or Thanksgiving is Christmas is truly loosing it's meaning. It's all about sales now, and not about family and charity. It's rather sickening to me, that kids are learning a special holiday is getting to be too comercialized towards consumers and the its all about me me me and what I want screw everyone else.

Never understood why anybody cares when someone else puts up decorations... Like it is not hurting anybody and obviously it makes them happy. Mate keep you christmas decorations up all year if you like! Some people like one holiday more than another and would prefer those decorations for longer. Who gives a flying fig? I don't really celebrate any holidays, not a fan of any of them but I'm never offended by how other people choose to celebrate.

I'm not really offended when people put up their decorations. More annoyed. What annoys me the most is when they put it up in the wrong season. Halloween and Thanksgiving are fall holidays. Christmas, New Years, and Valentine Day are winter holidays. St. Patricks and Easter are Spring. It's only Christmas that is put up out of season and it drives me nuts. I don't mind when Christmas stuff goes up right after Thanksgiving, but still before Halloween........ Pegasus Gates said: Never understood why anybody cares when someone else puts up decorations...
