I did actually. But it is proven that it is literal abuse so the name change is pointless. The sport will still be abuse. No matter how much they try to sugar coat it.

Did you know they actually changed the name of the big lick too "padded performance"

Another thing, those huge boots they put on those horses makes their hooves and joins so sore...

Soring a horse just to be pretty is terrible. those poor horses deserve better.

My grandma takes in a bunch of abused horses and she had a few a couple years back and it was actually so sad. One out of 3 of the horses had to be euthanized. I could never imagine putting a horse, or anything in that matter, through something like that.

Same honestly. It's pure abuse. I own a tennessee Walker and thinking of her being in that situation is terrible.

The main reason racing gets such a bad rep is bc its the most public and accessible to be watched

If the public, non horse people saw behind the scenes in most other sports, racing would look like the most humane

Any horse sport can be like that honestly. But flat racing is the worst. It gets a bad rep sadly
The Barefoot Barn
11:27:10 B
Agreed. I just hate when greedy amateurs decide to get into flat racing and then they end up blaming everything on the horse. That boils my blood.

When its done responsibly its a great sport.

Honestly it's going to be hard to say until she debuts. LB placing will give a better idea of what she's worth than anything else, especially considering that Knight is retiring next year, and she might not produce that well with anyone else.

Maybe it helps as orientation, i got 1mil for an Embryo out of my then #1 KNN mare (WWW) with Aurelian (former #1 KNN sire).

I'd easily pay 200-250k for her because of her production but I'd also agree on it being easier once she's debuted. Granted her throwing KNN foals isn't guaranteed, since she's Lplp
Other WW mares are up for about 75k to 200k for brood.
