I bet they were 'gone' even before they got into the soil though... :(

Question... does Ford make an elecrtic sedan? I know they have the Lightning and the Mach E.

I can still try to sprout some seeds since heating pad speeds things up significantly. Maybe it helps.

Yup, if you want plants now, it'll have to be potted ones...

Oh, then definitely not seedling seed material. :(

No, I put them in 3 different containers and they were in a warm humid place. They were almost hollow, not like usual pumpkin seeds that are almost round and loaded with nutrients.

Yeah, sounds like it. Or something ate them...

I think my pumpkin seeds are all dead by now, almost two weeks and zero sprouts.

Yep
I've been trying to get them to eat more carrots (vitamin c and sugar, I'm trying to get their weight up a bit) but they only eat their celery (not much nutritional value)
Spoiled little things lol
Who would've thought a guinea pig doesn't eat carrots? And four of them at that!

yeah, a cute fleece cover is important!

Oh dear! And heating pad sounds good. And don't forget more calorie food! :D

Yeah definitely!
I'm just trying to make myself feel better about putting them outside. They've been living inside and their cages are nearly finished, and it was -4 degrees celsius the other day and it's still autumn!

That'll be me when I get rabbits. I'll want the test for them, without being overboard. :D

They are a lot cheaper, it's just because the one's I was looking at getting (didn't realize they were so expensive) had washable fleece covers with cute patterns, because they need something over the top of the pad so they don't burn themselves.
And yeah, I could use a teatowel or something but I'm picky... that's probably why it's so expensive. I'm picky when it comes to my pigs ;)

I'm no longer underweight! January 26, 2022 05:17 AM

After a traumatic event related to food, in the beginning of April, 2020 I weighted 44,7 kg (98 lb 8 oz). This meant that I dropped nearly 12 kg (26 lb 7 oz) in less than 3 months. My ribs were showing, my hands were like sticks, etc, you can imagine.

I went to general internal medicine and gastroenterology, every test they did came back perfectly normal. (In fact, according to the internal medicine doctor, my results were abnormally perfect considering how thin I was at the time).

Then I started therapy to deal with the trauma that started all of this, but it seemed to not do too much either. I was still afraid of eating, felt full after a few bites of food, and the weight just wasn't coming back up.

Around Christmas, 2021, I had a sort of breakthrough. Probably because I felt finally calm and at ease? Point is, my ability to eat and with it, my weight, started to finally go up.

Probably I should mention that by the recommendation of the intrernal medicine doctor, I started eating a very specific breakfast and I still eat this every single day, nearly two years later. It's a sort of raw oatmeal, with chia seeds, coconut flakes, cinnamon, honey, and peanut butter as base. To give some variety I sometimes add bananas, vanilla essence, cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, walnut/hazelnut milk or heavy cream.

And now, with a huge boost from this Christmas season, with a BMI of 19.1, I'm finally no longer underweight! Sporting 54 kg (119 lb) I finally look like a human being and not a walking skeleton. Since it took so long and it was such a tough fight for me, this makes me incredibly happy and just had to share >w< Feels like I've conquered the world lol
