So Im bringing along my 5 yo OTTB Maple, and of course we have our bad days here and there, but hes been so good recently and Im so proud :)

He learned half halts really quickly, hes starting to grasp self carriage, our walk/trot transitions are almost seamless, our trot/canter transitions are getting smoother

We're starting to work towards walking in and out of the arena under saddle and standing around outside the arena

He was also a little cinchy, and so we've been working on that (its not pain related), and now that I go a little slower and give him scritches and hes happy about being cinched :)

😎rode out of the arena yesterday and halfway up the hill back to his house with no problem

im so so proud of him

hes getting less arena sour as well

and his canter transitions are improving a lot, and hes more balanced in the canter
