Yes I keep a good eye on this too. 200 horses can be in manager if u have premium but other than that it is up to player to know when to place. I've played a long time. This account is actually newer as I used to play five years ago and got deleted due to inactivity due to life evwnts

Yes that is a good thing to look at as well. Some of my current don't do great but I've had a long time and they are school masters in their preferred discipline they did awesome at so I keep around for just a few more ebs before they age out

Placing depends heavily on when the owner enters too, though. A good horse can have crap placing because it got entered right after it leveled up.

Yes I usually geld my EEE boys that come out of my breeding pairs and show them. I sell the EEE girls. My studs seem to make some good show babies 😂

you can also see their recent placings for the past six months and judge based off that. i look for horses that place 8+ regularly.

Grape, yes they will. And higher levels make profit faster. Level 6 once you make 6 or 7th place it turns profit 😎

on my showing account I have like 220 show horses normally
and they make me about 500k a night when im showing consistently. so about 250k profit per nigth

Good breeding helps. Depending on how fast you want to level any horse can make money. But good breeding and training helps a lot.
