when the horse has 2 training bars per level, so a level 4 dressage horse would need 8 bars in Mv, Int, and Str :)

Most of the LB status comes from the horse's strength. Truthfully, FRing the foals isn't going to impact things that greatly. If he has enough good foals on the ground, those will compensate for any junk ones he might produce

On both of my accounts, sometime after 11 am after I already ran 4 or 5 horses the biomes are set to "Forest"
