yeah I'm of the same mind honestly--you never know where the good ones are until you give 'em a little time to show it, although once you *have* a number of good horses then that raises the standard and you gotta keep the population down somehow. everyone's at a different point in their stable though so up to the individual to decide

I put most of my boys up for public breeding for 10 breeding. I was breeding a stallion that was also up for public breeding and got a error message that he is no longer up for public breeding. This wasn't happening yesterday. The breeding I did appears to have counted as public breeding rather than me breeding my own horses. I have bred him 3 times(He has been bred 12 times in all). As soon as I got the 11th breeding he is no longer up for breeding and I get the oops this Stud is no longer available for public breeding message.

~EDIT~I was able to go in the breeding center and breed him again. But if I click him in the LBs to breed to him it counts as a public breeding.
