Hi you guys!! So literally, just today, I saved a horse out of the kill pen, and I'm so excited to have a future with him. Don't worry, I've had rescues before, and I know how to care for, quarantine, handle, etc. I just thought I'd share this story with you all as it progresses. So far, here's what we know: He's a gelding, six years old, purebred Arabian, likely is registered (although papers aren't with him), has had professional halter training, and is as sweet as pie. Our friend saw him down there, she goes around and saves as many Arabians out of the kill pens as she can, and after being there with him, contacted us. She said he would be perfect with us, as he's got a huge personality that she knew we'd love. He's stunning, and I adore him already.
So, where we are right now: We did get him, more expensive that wanted but the other people who were bidding have had horses die in their care and we were NOT going to let that happen. So now, we find a way to ship him here. |

Isn't he precious? Thanks for the kind words! He's on his way to our friend's house right now. She said he loaded like a dream, and stood perfectly patient. I asked for picture updates along the way! I'll be sure to post them :) |

That boy was sure lucky that your friend was there and you got him <3 does he have a name yet if not maybe you could name him something along the lines of Lucky because some other horses aren't as lucky to be saved just an idea you don't have to use it if you don't like it or he already has a name. Good luck with him :) |

He is absolutely gorgeous. I could kiss that nose all day! Congrats on the new rescue. I know how rewarding that is. YouΓβre a great person for doing that.
