Well, he actually ended up arriving at 1:30am. It was well worth it though. He's now comfortable with a bunch of hay and water, and got a very thorough brushing, as well as me giving him a slight neck massage (I know some very basic horse massage). He's a very sweet boy and loves kisses/snuggles. While I was massaging his neck, he wrapped his head all the way around me, and was very pleased. And although he's only been here for a day, to make him comfortable, since our other horses were due for a farrier visit, we had his hooves done too. He was a perfect gentleman!! I'll post photos in a bit, as well as what name I choose. :)

Okay I promised pictures and a name!! So his name, even though I had a huge list, is now Eli. It's sweet, but smart, just like him! If you guys want, I can totally keep updating this with photos and stories - but if I'm bothering, just let me know and I can stop. :)

And of course, we had to ask him to show off his neck a little http://i66.tinypic.com/2hs6wcp.jpg Edited at October 8, 2017 08:13 AM by Nippy Equine

He's adorable! It's a miracle you could find a horse so sweet and beautiful from the kill pen. Good luck with him! I'm so glad he's working out. Edited at October 8, 2017 11:38 AM by Moonlit Nights Farms
