There's probably a similar forum post floating around but I really wanted to post this! I want to hear all about the HEE community's horses' pedigrees or if there are any fun stories about them.
My 16.3hh bay gelding is by a warmblood stud called Creevagh Ferro and out of a traditional ISH mare. I don't know much about his dam, other than she did a bit of low level eventing. My boy is pretty sharp but he's such a sweetheart when he doesn't spook at the same blue barrel we pass in the arena every day. Or when he sees the cow four fields over. I love him regardless of his quirks which he definitely gets from his sire.
We also had a funny little 15.2hh gelding who's sire was a stocky cob who managed to jump into a field with a Thoroughbred mare. He's actually a pretty good eventer.

My Grulla AQHA colt (Bleu Gone Dun It) is by Beaus Smokin Bleugun (Sputniks Tack Beau) who has pretty impressive racing lines, out of Imdunwhistlindixie (reining lines).
My chestnut suppressed few spot (or snow cap, have to get him tested) Appaloosa colt is by ORA Ulrich Sundancer (pics in his forum post) out of a 1/2 Appaloosa 1/2 Haflinger Mare.
Both boys are in my stable set and have their own forum posts if you want to see more pics :)

A horse I used to ride at my old barn who I loved a ton was a 26 year old thoroughbred. He had Northern dancer in his pedigree which I thought was pretty cool. In his prime he was a junior hunter horse but became a school horse after. At 26, just a few montha ago he was still jumping 2'9 (only with me) but eventually he got more and more worn down and sore from little kids pulling ans tugging and kicking him. :(

The horse on my profile page is called Baron Harlon, he was my horse in 1994 and he is from the King bloodline. Baron was/is an American Quarter Horse. I do not know if he is still alive. He was my first AQH a d he taught me alot about horses. I have always studied horses since I was a child, but he introduced me to how a real horse acted. He was a very good teacher and I love him and miss him.

https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/rf+runs+in+the+family My half arab's pedigree. He's technically something like 7/8ths Arab and 1/8 Welsh pony. His lines aren't really anything well known until pretty far back - his dam is well bred. https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/taipei+mtc My purebred's pedigree. This guy is bred to the nines. His sire was a multi-national champion halter horse and won a ton of awards in the US and then was exported and is winning elsewhere now as well. Sire and sire's side are all very well known and successful halter horses. His dam is almost completely Spanish bred, which is what gives my guy some substance. She's very well bred and has thrown many very successful foals. I'm honestly so impressed with whoever had the smart idea to cross the extreme daintiness of the very halter bred sire with a very Spanish bred mare because the outcome is a perfectly put together, very typey Arabian with A LOT of substance (tall, strong legs, big hooves, etc).

My Canadian thoroughbred is by Awesome Again, a Canadian hall of fame sire who was the only Breeder's Cup Classic winner to sire a Breeder's Cup Classic winner. This makes him Justify's great (half) uncle. He is out of a mare named Maysville and I talked to her last owner via email and she was apparently a huge sweetheart. He gets that from her. I always thought his pedigree was so cool even though he wasn't such a good racehorse.
