Hey guys, if your reading this, I hope you've had a good day, and another good one tomorrow!
So I board my horse at a horse rescue place Calle Generous Friends Rescue and Rehab. The owner, Rachell, has a facebook page where she collects donations to save horses from feedlots (I got my horse from her, he came from the feedlots as well). I want to keep everyone updated on each and every horse at the barn. I will list name/age/gender/breed. Starting with Jenny.
Jenny is a chestnut mare. She is a draft horse (Standing over 18 hh). She is around 13. When they first rescued her she had a tumor in each of her eyes. SHe isn't very nice to new people and stays in the pasture because she doesn't like stalls.
Raji is a dark brown gelding. He has a blaze down his face, age is unknown to me, height is unknown to me, he walks with a slight limp and loves people. I'm pretty sure he is a Arb.
Cash is Rachel's personnel horse. He is a black and white QH with a half circle on his face. He is really nice and everyone likes him. unknown height.
Then we have a new mare who just came in, she is a bigger build and her face is too big for her body. She is a palomino and acts very much like a mare. She hasn't been named yet.
Timber is a dark buckskin gelding, he is inside most of the time because he is mean to the other horses and doesn't like to converse. He is around 14.
After Timber is a little mare who is new as well. She is palomino as well, and doesn't have a name because they just got her. She is pretty small (maybe around 14.3?), and likes to bite the passing horses.
Then we have AnnDee, a grey gelding. He just got back from training and is a QH, He is dappled and loves to interact with the mares.
The we have Lexi, a Yakima Mustang. She is very nice and is such a pig they have a full body sleezy on her, under her blanket and her tail is always wrapped, just because she likes to roll in her own poop.
Next to Lexi we have Dolly, a bay Arb, who loves to jump, Dolly is only 2 and has started her training. She was rescued from the feed lot at 6 months old.
Then there is another bya horse who i have no idea what her name is at all. xD
After... that mare, is Johnny, a yearling. He is a brown and white gelding, his mother is a Welsh, and his father unknown. He is the cutest thing ever and will melt your heart.
Right next to Johnny is a big, black, intimidating mustang named Thor. He is really nice, but just looks powerful, scary and mean. But he's a marshmallow.
Then we cross the isle and meet the blind red roan gelding. There is Rubin, he is old, and blind. He is super sweet with kids, and loves treats.
Next to Rubin is mean ol' Sunny. Sunny is the meanest horse there. he is a gelding. He is chestnut. Next please, I get scared thinking about him.
Then we have Taz. Taz is the old, grandma of the herd. She takes care of all the horses and acts like a mom to the foals. She is a dark bay with no markings but a slight ombre in her mane.
Next to Taz we have Over-due prego, Yakima mustang EMber. Ember was in the same herd as Lexi. Ember is over due by a month or so, and doesn't seem like she's gonna blow any time soon.
And we have Jezabel, she is a bay welsh, Johnnys dam. SHe is drop dead gorgeous and i might be doing showman ship with her
Then We have Maya. She is a white QH Filly with a few black splotches on her. She is 2. SHe is sweet, but acts like a mare.
Then there is my gelding, Frost :)
I may post pictures later.
