Oh yes! And what San just said is more accurate. I just out of bed. ;P

@san

Correct! Or maybe a tad lighter, maybe? :D

I think it would be the other way round, a gold champagne hiding apricot, since the Champagne gene is dominant and the pearl is recessive- I have a Prlprl boy who is gold champagne and I think he would look the same if he had two pearl genes.

I'd think so too unfortunately. But it would be cool if it was like a mix of the two.

No, apricot is a chestnut with two pearl genes. And gold is a chestnut with champagne genes.

If anything it would be an apricot champagne? But in the game I'd think it would just be apricot and 'hiding' the champagne. :D

I know. I love apricots but I think gold champagnes are beauties as well. Bummer I've never seen a combination of them.

Equisense is great! You only need the sensor for it to track your ride and give feedback. The exercises and programs are really good to follow.

To be honest, not trying to offend but if you cant afford lessons then its best to not start a new discipline. I have seen so many horses/people injured due to poor training. Its in the horses and your best interest to not start something that is by far the most dangerous sport on the Equine industry with out instruction.

But you can by all means start getting comfortable in the english saddle, as I started out riding Western and converted to english. the english saddle puts you more on your pelvic bones where the western saddle puts you more on your seat bones and gluts (Butt). English is a very complex sport so 1st things 1st getting used to the saddle is the very 1st step in getting to where you want to be. you could even try trotting in a 2 point position for extended periods. Jumping relies more on your riding fitness then anything, being able to hold your position with just your knees, calves, and thighs while also following the horses motion and not holding onto the reins to save your life lol takes time and muscle strength.

Make no mistake not knowing what your doing can get the horse seriously injured and you killed, jumping is by far the most dangerous equine sport you can participate in. Take this seriously and wait for a better financial situation to start really jumping and work on your fitness undersaddle. Then once your financial situation improves, you will be ready to really start learning rather then paying for the trainer to watch you 2 point and trot over poles for months lol
