Ru, no. I go through by hand and enter all who are up 3/3 for the discipline I'm entering, so 2 bars in all 3 stats for a level one. A lot of them don't show well anyways, though. The ones that do bad get tossed till next week and Tues-Wed I only enter greens in easy show.

I entered 149 horses and I knew a lot of them wouldn't do amazing but now the ones that did bad won't show the rest of the week. Get those sweet, sweet profit margins up to 100%

winter in portugal is pretty cold, and even though my horse is stabled 5 days a week and only out for 2 days not including the nights, without heaters or much insulation or anything other than their own body heat, even the stables can get pretty chilly with temperatures reaching -5 degrees celsius over here. So im in search of some cosy indoor stable rugs, but they can't be too fluffy and warm, i dont want him overheating!
please give reccomendations to any brands or specific rigs you think are great!
thanks <3

The most important way to keep a horse warm is to give them access to as much hay as possible and to let them move around outside. 2 days of turnout isn't fair at all to an animal designed to move around constantly.
That being said, with temps like that, a heavy blanket is your best bet. Weatherbeeta makes some good ones, though I'm not sure if they sell in Portugal or if y'all have different brands over there.

hey thanks for the advice puck! im going to have a look at getting a weatherbeeta rug online as ive heard really great stuff about them. As to my horse's turnout time, the winters in portugal are cold but relatively short, and i only keep him in in the winter for so long because the ground of the pastures can get super frosty and slippy , they do have a stable shelter but they tend not to go inside that much. also the 3 paddocks we have are relatively smallish and there are over 25 horses at my yard (we are getting some new paddocks soon hopefully though!) i do feel bad for my horse staying in, but they have big, airy stables, and in the spring, summer and autumn i let him out almost every day, at night too if the weather looks good. He does get a decent amount of hay 3 times a day, so im not too worried about that. but the turnout thing is only for a month and a bit, and he gets daily excersise, so im not too worried!
thanks puck! <3
