I mean people are always terrified of Jupiter for some reason but it is the small one that you have to be afraid of. He came from the ghetto out here haha. Should have SEEN the area the lady lived in that I took him from.

I couldn't crop or dock a pup personally. For medical reasons absolutely in a heart beat but for a house pet just makes em look mean and scary sometimes. I fostered soooo many pitties and it is just a nightmare finding homes for them sometimes when they've already been cropped because of stereotypes but whatever just means it wasn't the right home. As a female who lives alone i do use my "scary dog" privileges. No one has to know he is afraid of spiders haha.

Who can cry?

Honestly you can cry. Because your opinion doesnÂ’t matter to me. Cropping and Docking is not painful to the dog. Maybe do some research.. donÂ’t use google.

@Starlight

I can see that side of things and quite understand it.

I suppose my view would also be what the owners aims are for the pup.

Example: if they just want a house dog or plan to do protection training ect with them too.

Me personally I would still crop and dock a doberman Because of course we would still get outside and do fun stuff. Im in america anyone can break in at anytime.

Update (Yay!)
So yesterday I went to my new job (jazz hands 🎷👏) I mucked out for about an hour and then went home. The place is pretty nice, they have 3 goats, 3 donkeys, 4 horses, 3 ducks, and TONS of chickens! SO, heres what happend : 3:15 PM, I arrived and got the paperwork all filled out. I got a basic rundown of what needed to be done that day (muck out and possibly groom.)
3:20-3:30 I mucked out the stalls which werent that dirty because they get mucked every day.
3:30-3:40 Mucked around the stalls in the pasture and got to know the horses and donkeys. Almost got my hand bitten off by a tiny shetland mare lol
3:40-3:50 Went to the bathroom, tried to get miss grumpy sheltand out of a stall.
3:50-4:10 Got grumpy mare out of the stall and finished up.
4:15 Left!

BIG UPDATE!
-
So. It's been a while. I have left the mucking out job and switched instructors. My old instructor wasn't a good fit for me and im learning tons with my new one! I currently ride a grand prix trained Oldenburg called RD. He's the sweetest grey gelding but he's quite tall! I also sometimes ride a red roan appaloosa quarter horse mare named Kitty. I have a lesson later today so ill keep you all posted!
