Mountain Horse botts are really nice and affordable and they last a fair while :)

I got my ariats 1 year ago, worn them literally every day since. They've been through creeks, hosed off, 5 inches deep in mud, stepped on buy a 1200-pound fat boi, and are pretty waterproof though not even made to be.

Ariats are cool because you can send them back once a year if they're damaged at all (break them a little on purpose so you can get a new pair every year!) But I also love my Dublins. Bit basic but super smart looking, I'll pull a pic up.

I actually avoid ariats. 100% not work worthy in my opinion, nor are they really comfy.. especially for their insane sky high prices. Ive given about 7 pairs of their boots a chance, and ive never been satisfied. I wear a lot of Nocona personally. :) There are other brands that you can honestly just come across at your local Atwoods, Tractor Supply CO, Boot Barn, and Cavenders that are all great brands!

Ariat Heritage Contour field boots are my favorites. Got four years out of my first pair with everyday use riding several horses a day (and I did not take great care of them) before the zipper broke and I just decided to get a new pair. They still looked great when cleaned up.

Ariats are good quality and the best boots in my opinion. They come in so many different styles to fit your needs as well.

This is an older thread, but oh well. I absolutely love my Ariats. I bought them second hand probably years ago, and they are just now starting to fall apart (and I'm ROUGH on them). I have heard that newer Ariats are nowhere near the quality/ comfort that old ones are, though. I still plan to replace my current pair with similiar ones, probably the heritage contour ii's

My old ariats lasted years. My new ones lasted six months and when I complained to the company they just sent me a link to a youtube about how to clean your boots, which I was already doing religiously. Totally snarky and uncalled for. I'll never recommend them again. Editing to add- after that, I switched to tuffrider. Had them nearly a year and they still look brand new. Definitely recommend those. Edited at March 8, 2023 06:45 AM by FirstLightFarms
