Wow, that story is super interesting because I was reading multiple stories about this happening to a lot of cattle ranchers in the South! From my observation, the popular theory was that these cattle were mutilated by devil worshipping former veterinary studentsl. Also, these incidents have happened about a month ago which confuses me even more! I am going to try to find the stories and link them here tomorrow. Edit: I just remembered that my source is a local news source, so in order to not potentially give information on my whereabouts I will not link it, but feel free to search for it. I also just remembered that the tongue was cut off of all the cattle in this particular incident, and more mutilation that is pretty graphic, and there was no bodily fluid on the ground, sign of struggle, or even footprints and tire marks. No wild animals would touch the carcasses, even the birds wouldn't attempt to peck the eyes out. If anyone would like more information regarding this particular story pm me questions. :) Edited at May 8, 2023 11:26 PM by The Huntress Stables

I know that story. Ironically things like this happen all over the Southwestern part of the United States also. From my understanding, it wasn't public knowledge at the time of the horse's death/discovery, but it later came out that there had been a couple young guys in the area shooting horses in the days prior. Wouldn't explain the radioactivity, though. It looks like a very clean cut at the base of the neck, but the skin dries and shrinks during the initial decomp process. If you look at skin, you'll see small, faint lines, and the decomposing skin will naturally wither into these lines. It can give the illusion of a technically done clean separation.

yeah, and it is possible to get a pretty darn clean cut like that if you are skilled with a knife, say if you are a butcher or skin animals often... but the radioactivity is what gets me.

Hawkeye Farms said: I found another web page on this mystery. There are some rather grusome photos in it. But with Joker found about the bullet holes, I dug a bit deeper. The bullets were in the right flank and made by 2 small calibur rounds.
I read this article and Id like to point out that Snippy's body is apparently not worth more than $50k 😭 Apparently her reassembled skeleton passed from person to person, was almost sold on eBay, and is now chillin in some warehouse

Oh good for her lol. In your first article (I didn't look at the date) the very bottom had little italics talking about it so i thought it was recent

LOL I did more digging. The first link I gave was to a blogger's page, the second was a local Colorado news page. There are a lot of theories out there. As for the radioactive stuff near by, I'm thinking it was a blow up from winds carrying the particals from other areas since it wasn't that too long ago they were doing testing in Nevada and Arizona. And then with other power plants there's always the over spill that leaks into the air that isn't registered.
