Gestation period after breeding two horses - takes 11 months for a foal to be born or longer if the mare is feeling difficult lol

Whenever a foal is going to be born, the actual process takes 2-5 hours and you have to remain online the entire time to 'ensure nothing goes wrong.' If you go offline during those hours, there's a chance the mare will miscarry.

A few of my ideas:

-If you want to show you horses, they have to be up to date on their vaccinations. If your horses are not up to date you have a chance of getting fined.

-Horses that are kept in barns have a higher chance of developing stable vices, negatively impacting their lifespan.

-Horses that are kept in pastures have a higher chance of having worms. They will need to be tested and dewormed at least once a year.

-Every year, your barn needs a deep clean to keep the stables fresh. Your riders can't show for a day to do this or you your stable hand, groom and barn manager are occupied and unable to preform their task for two days.

-Every year, your fences need to be checked. Either your riders have to do this, or your stable hand, groom and barn manager are tasked with this.

-When harvesting hay, you have a small chance some poisonous plants get in your haybales. Horses that eat hay with poisonous plants have a 50% chance of getting sick.

-When buying a horse, they need to be isolated for four weeks to prevent your other horses from possibly getting sick. To isolate your horse, you need to have a seperate barn.

-There is an infectious disease outbreak, your stable is in quarantine for six weeks. You can't enter your horses in shows and you can't sell any horses or set any horses free.

There's a chance that your horses could get out & eat all your grain & seed

Ofcourse they get sick

Sometimes no one wins the shows because the entire class has a collective spook over loud approaching geese

Every horse has a 1% chance daily of being injured, those that are cannot show, breed, explore, trail ride, etc for 3 days after until they are healed.

My Favorite one

Add a toggle to enable Hooffinders on a horses page, and they will randomly get ebs from the groom/accountant,barn manager, etc if it's enabled

Also add fwiesens

Lost all your hay because it went moldy or caught on fire and 10% chance it also burned one of your barns down.

You can steal other's stuff or horses since these things always happen irl.
