I rode casually when I was 18. But only been taking serious lessons for a year now.

my grandfather bred Reining horses and halter horses, AQH. So I have always been around them, but never ridden. And when my aunt went through her nasty divorce over horses, I was not allowed to be near them. So now I follow the path my grandpa would love to see me on.

I was about to turn 7. Got a Shetland Pony for (right before) my 7th birthday. My profile picture has her in it. She passed away due to old age a few years ago. Right before my 20th birthday. She was already around 25-30 years old when we got her and therapeutically trained.

So my mom was riding when she was pregnant with me and I met our horses at 3 days old since that's when I got out of the hospital and according to my mom apparently our mare was really hot headed but with me she was gentle and she set me on Echos back (holding me up of course) and then once I could sit up on my own I started actually riding with someone behind me to hold me in place thennn around a year and a half my mom taught me to ride (she did Hunter jumper, jumpers, barrel racing, equitation, and cutting)
