I try to stick to a fantasy medieval fairyfolk theme

I use a mix! Sometimes based off the parents if I have a good idea, other times I do whatever feels right for the horse. I've used real names, names inspired by song lyrics, and themes for a group of show geldings. XD

My 8 year old is a great naming convention :) That's how I get horses like Blanket Bag, Pokey Pokeydot, etc :B

I pick from parents names mostly but also by theme or randomly depending on how I feel for that foal. For the best ones sometime I try to find a special name that may hint the parents if I have inspiration but it could be totally random to start a new thematic for that special horse's future progeny. So I pick Random in the poll but it's really a mix !

Usually after whatever book series I'm currently obsessed over or song titles/lyrics

Based off fandoms, OCs, or anything that sounds cool! (Which is usually warrior cats-type names. Like Dancing light, or Diamond Dust.)

I chose other because, I name them after my stable name same with my other account. It's just habbit because i own Regstered stock, so that's just what I'm used too

I use the parents names, colors patters and random ways to name them.

Currently I'm into Gods and Goddesses. Also Planets/Astronomical names.
