He walked closer and now I could tell he was pure black. The stallion was muscular and tall with blue eyes. He came closer and closer, until his head was inches from mine and he purred "Well well look what we have here. " Out of no where he snarled why are you in my territory? Now I knew who he was. His name was Black Death. He killed almost everyone who crossed on to his territory.

I-I- I'm sorry I didn't know and my family was killed by man kind. He looked at me that's no excuse. He reared about to trample me when all of a sudden a pure white stallion came out of no where! When I saw his face I saw that he was my sire. He called out leave the last heir to the snow herd.

Black Death sneered him, he's a weakling. He will never be strong enough to defend your herd let alone a normal horse her or any for that matter. Well he's the only foal of Silver. Black Death became quiet. Come on so let's go, but don't run, talk, or ever look back.

As soon as we were out of earshot I asked Why Death had been sad at the mention of my mother. He looked at me you will know one day, but not today. He snorted it is a long travel ahead of us we will walk 5 miles today. Tomorrow we will walk 20.
