Welcome to Orcas Island!

Here at Laika Groves, our Orcas Island Ponies are looking for new owners. These ponies distinctively have large ears and slender frames, often found on the beach or the nearby woods. Some more of their traits can be read here.

Each pony comes attached to a corresponding HEE horse ID, as well as the horse itself. Ponies are loosely based on the color name and phenotype if gene tested, but will not be 1-to-1 on the exact pattern itself.

If you do not care for any interactive elements of the adopts and do not want to involved in my adopts, you may save the image and set them free; the pony will be removed from participation. This cannot be reversed unless you retrieve it from free range for some reason.

Guidelines

1. Adopts are claimed on this forum. Once confirmed, a private sale will be initiated for you afterwards for the actual HEE horse. While up for sale, the art will be hidden, but it will reappear after it has been purchased.

2. The horse itself is yours to do with as freely. But please note if the image is removed, the horse is removed from the adopt participation. If I add breeding in the future, it cannot participate. The adopt will still be yours.

3. If the horse is sold while the image is still attached, the adopt is sold with it as it is attached to the ID. Most OIPs are low-value in game so I don't think there will be much value to sell the horse itself lmao.

4. All adopt horses will have my brand 'ѲIP', art attached, and will have Wild lineage. The art will have my credit and the horse's ID on the image.

optional 5. OIPs are meant to be smaller horses! For the height, just pretend it's whatever the PON's height is minus 2hh for simplicity.

Premades

Imports

Imports are a premium only feature due to requiring you to private sale me the horse. This will allow you to choose your own wild PON to convert to an OIP.

Please note the import will not match the image 1-to-1 pattern wise. It will still follow my normal rule of designing it based on the color name / phenotype, but it will be a little less random than a normal premade.

The PON must be of wild lineage and be unbranded.

Short (aka Natural), Fjord, and Shaved manes in order.

Breeding

Breeding is a planned feature, but not yet implemented! This directly piggybacks off the actual breeding feature in HEE. This is the only way to get non-wild Orcas Island Ponies!

Both parents must be registered and branded Orcas Island Ponies. Foal image OIPs cannot breed.

Whoever owns the foal submits the breeding request, so if another player puts an OIP stallion up for breeding, you may breed that way and submit a foal form.

What then follows is the normal import process: you private sale me the foal, and it will be returned via private sale back with brand and foal image attached.

For Import parents: The foal must be bred after your horse becomes an OIP. Foals bred before this cannot count. Can use private sale date as a marker.

FYI: You can breed your OIPs like normal HEE horses outside of the adopt game. At the end of the day, they're still just normal horses!

Aging Up

Aging up enables foals to breed when they're of breeding years in HEE (age 3), as well as giving them an adult image. It is entirely optional.

Aging up repeats the import process. You'll need to private sale the horse so I may apply the new image. The process of getting images under 100kb is fickle, no idea if saving inbetween hosting sites would mess it up, so this is just a maybe precaution to leave those tasks to me. :]

Aging up can be done to both premade foals and foals received from breeding.

I will reupload the foal image on Gifyu so it can remain archived in this forum, but I recommend saving it yourself as well.
