Ok, so I've been doing art recently and have thought about getting a Wacom tablet, but I wanted to know if it is worth it or not to buy one... that being said if you have one I mpwanted to know: does it perform well? What program(s) works the best with it? Does it need any add ons(drawing pen, etc) And also do YOU personally like the way it performs?
Any tips on using it would be appreciated also
Thank y'all for your time!!
*if This doesn't belong here feel free to move it Mods, thanks :)*

A wacom tablet isn't like an actual tablet say like an ipad is. It's a usb device you plug into your laptop. Kind of like a large touch pad. I think they all come with their own pen. https://imageshack.com/a/img923/7477/0iP69j.jpg
I use mine with photoshop, but they will work with any program that has touch sensitivity. I think some of them even come with their own program (coral painter?)
You will need to be on a windows or IOS operating system to download the drivers necessary to use your tablet.
And yes, i 100% believe they are well worth the money. I saw a noticeable improvement with my manes / tails and highlighting. :)
Hope that's helpful.
If you have any more questions feel free to PM me.

You can try checking local electronics stores. I think mine was bought at Best Buy, many, many years ago.

I would definitely get one if you think art is something you will continue to do. I have a Wacom Intuos Art, and it does everything I need. You wont need any add ons, only to download the drivers. If you want to buy one store, I would suggest Best Buy, or any similar store. :D
