Minor HEE rant...
I really, really dislike it when I'm exploring a new horse and the game spends 46 out of 50 exploration moves telling me some variation of:
"Your spooky horse finds courage."
"Your nervous horse gains confidence."
"Your horse hesitates but pushes forward."
At that point, I'm already suspicious.
So I keep exploring, hoping maybe it's Premium. Maybe Elite. Maybe the next clue will finally tell me something useful.
Move 46:
Your horse is Sub-Par.
Seriously?
I could understand if it eventually turned out to be World Class. Or Elite. Or even Premium. Those are ratings worth making me work for them.
But Sub-Par?
Come on.
If my horse is afraid of leaves, shadows, its own reflection, and possibly the concept of movement itself, just tell me that up front and save me 40 exploration moves.
Why make me sit through an entire redemption arc before finally admitting the horse would lose a staring contest with a butterfly?
At this point, I'd appreciate a clue that simply says:
"Your horse would like to file a formal complaint about the existence of bushes."
At least then we'd know where we stand.
