Andi kept her eyes on him as he pushed himself up with a hiss of pain, she winced slightly at the sound, not even wanting to imagine the type of pain that shopt through him as he did that. She fidgeted in place slightly and quietly as she felt Tyler's eyes start to study her. Andi kept the most neutral face that she could at the moment, besides the pain that made creases in her forehead and the overbearing thoughts that made the small gleam she always seem to have die down. When his eyes finally came back to her face and she was met with his question, an immeadiate frown came across her. Andi slowly turned her head away from him and just stared at the wall that was in front of her. At that moment, she sort of wished that Tyler had just stayed asleep or that he didn't know her so well... Lie, she was glad that he knew her well, otherwise who knows where her thoughts would have lead her. As Andi took a moment to think about what she wanted to say so for the moment, she just focused on listening to him answering her questions. "Well.. I am glad that you're alive.. and I don't think not worrying about you will be so easy..." Andi held back a sort of snort as she thought about all the times she had to bandage or stitch that accident prone man up. It was always endless worrying when it came to him but she didn't mind that cause if she didn't worry for him then she knew he wasn't going to worry about himself. At his last small comment, she glanced back over at him. A small smiled etched back onto her face as she saw her favorite deep blue eyes get a small spark back to them. After a small silence had settled after Tyler's last few words, she took a deep breath, thinking about how she wanted to come back to his earlier question. "Mentally... I feel like I'm about to nosedive off a bridge" She choked up slightly but kept back the tears that wanted to form and the tightness in her throat that wanted to keep her from talking about it. "I'm... I'm really sorry for all of this happening" Andi finally fully turned her head back toward him, her eyes glossing over slightly.

Tyler shifted slightly again, his hand resting on his stomach like he wanted to hold himself together. If he shattered, he wouldn't be able to help her, so now was not the time to mentally fall apart. He was stronger than that. His eyes watched her carefully as she stared at the wall, even more worry filtering into them at her blank look. Yep, this was not good. And he did not want to be in a hospital room right now. He wanted to be in his cabin, on the couch, with her, Jasper by her side and Raven by his, comforting her and telling her everything would be okay. Truthfully. "It's not supposed to be easy. You can try, though." He pointed out lowly, looking away and thinking for a couple long moments. There were so many things he could think about. He was human. Completely human. No wings, no powers. The angels really did it this time. And to think, he was actually doing their will for once- protecting her. Yet he was enjoying it, so of course they were pissed. Still, even being human paled in comparison to his immense concern for her. Every second felt like another she could slip away from him, into her own thoughts, not to come out again. He couldn't let that happen. He watched her again as she started speaking, a muscle in his jaw jumping at the shimmering of tears in her eyes, just held back. His heart chipped and squeezed painfully as she apologized. "No- no, Andi, don't apologize. Why are you even apologizing? None of this is your fault. Not a single bit of it." He stated sharply, reaching over despite the pain and grabbing her hand. "Listen to me. Don't blame yourself. If you need to blame someone, blame the angels. They're screwing with your life because they're hurting me, but that's not your fault at all. I'm the person who should be sorry- and I am, so, so sorry that you got caught up in all of this." His mind flashed back to when they first met. "You probably should've just tasered me when you had the chance." He added with a crooked smile. "But the point is? This is not. Your. Fault." Tyler finished firmly, his fingers curling around hers like he was physically trying to protect her from the pain. "I wish I could fix this all." He muttered lowly. "But it *will* all return back to normal. The angels can't take anything else. We will both heal. We can return to our lives. I'll be human, but that's *good*. Then I can... just live here." He said calmly, holding her gaze. "I'm not blowing smoke, okay? I mean this. Everything will improve." He didn't even know how she could think this was her fault. It really all went back to him. It was his fault that her life was like this now, but all he could do was try to make it better every day and push away the guilt that choked him out.

Andi could see the moment her apology started to jab at his heart, she let out a shakey breath as a few tears started to stream down her face slightly. She really wasn't trying to start crying again but she couldn't help it, everything seemed like too much at the moment and all she could feel was how upset she was with herself with letting this all happen. As Tyler started to console her and reach over for her hand, that's when the real tears started to flood down. "But.. but it is my fault.. and we wouldn't be here if I hadn't left... or if I let you come with me" She tried to ramble quietly through her tears but Tyler basically talked over her, drowning out her rambling nonsense. Which was definitely the best thing in the moment. The more she heard herself spew nonsense the less anything he was going to say would get her to calm down. As he spoke more, her mind raced more to try and have a rebuttal for what he had to say. Not liek she was trying to fight him to say that it was all her fault but she refused to let Tyler shift the blame away from her. With his comment on the Angels, she quieted for a moment. It was true that the angels did nothing but seem to want to hurt Tyler but still in her mind the angels wouldn't have done anything if she had just stayed put. "but the angels aren't just to blame... I've gotten you in countless situations where you've ended up hurt... all the stitches and the bandages... Now you're not an angel anymore cause I didn't want you to go with me. I mean how stupid am I to not let you go with me?..." Andi hicced slightly as she spoke, the hics sort of rocked her whole body as she tried to not let hurt her abdomen so much but it didn't really work. As Tyler's fingers curled around hers, she felt a small bit of weight drop from her chest. Even if all Tyler was doing was just simply talking to her and holding her hand, it meant the world to Andi at the moment. Anything was better than just the silence that seemed to always creep onto her. With the little quip about the taser, she sort of huffed a slight chuckle before letting out a deep sigh. She could feel herself starting to calm down as the tears stopped and her breathes slowed. At his last few statements, she nodded her head as if taking a mental note of each word. "I'm scared Tyler.... I know what you're saying isn't smoke but what if you hate being human?.. What if once we recover from this we somehow go seperate ways?.. What if we never recover from this?... What if the angels come back again and take more from you?.... There's so many what-ifs and I'm scared of losing you through all of this" Her once half calmed voice slowly started to fill with panic all over again. Andi's eyes scanned over Tyler, her brain just running off of scraps of panic at this point. She definitely wasn't as mentally strong as Tyler was with consoling her own thoughts so anything she could think of just came out her mouth and she trusted that he would always know the right thing to say at times.

Tyler's brow furrowed in an obvious display of concern, lips twitching into a small frown when he had to visibly watch tears leak from her eyes and roll down her cheeks. Each one hurt a little more, knowing he could've prevented all this pain. Each one made him blame himself a little more, for deciding to get close instead of watching from afar. She would've never gotten hurt if he would've stayed away, and he likely would be back up in heaven by now. That was his own lapse in judgement, his own fault. Not the angels. Initially, after all the bad things started happening, he should've stepped back. But no. He got attached too quickly. Cared about her enough as to where his selfishness won and he stayed, for his good and not her own. It would've hurt her to leave, but she would've been fine eventually. She would be safe right now. Petting Jasper on her own couch, watching a comedy/horror parody film, laughing without worrying about angels and him and literal heaven shit. "It's not your fault at all, those are things none of us were able to control. You needed things from the store, so the only plausible idea is to go to the store and get those things. No one could've possibly foreseen the fact that you would get in a crash." He spoke quietly, comfortingly, but he had to pause after that last sentence to clear the bitter taste in his mouth. If he was a full angel, he could've. He could've saved her. If he wasn't such an idiot, she'd be fine right now. Yet again, things he had done to hurt her. He cleared his mind and looked back at her with a confused look. "You have never gotten me into a situation that is your fault. Either it was completely my decision or the angels were twisting it from above. Stitches and bandages are part of life, and you made the logical decision with the information you had. If I was in your place, I'd have made the same exact decision. No need for me to come along with on a trip to the store. And who knows, maybe the crash would've hurt me worse than everything else did. Maybe it would've changed the trajectory of the car just enough to hit wrong and kill someone. Maybe I would've distracted you more and it could've been worse. There are so many unknowns in this world that all we can do is be thankful to be alive throughout whatever happens." He stated firmly, squeezing her hand slightly. He meant every word. No human could've foreseen what was going to happen. He was glad that his comment about the taser helped, though he honestly really wasn't speaking the truth there. He had been adamant about not getting tasered, and still was. He focused his dark gaze on her, ready to just observe her emotions and say whatever the truth was. He never told people what they wanted to hear. He told them the truth. And with her? That always helped. Because she was an overthinker, blamed herself for everything. The truth was that none of this was her fault. "There are a gazillion possibilities. Every step you take has a risk of you rolling your ankle. Everything you eat has a risk of food poisoning. Life is risky, and all we can do it live it. However, I can assure you... I will never leave you and if I am with you I will always be happy. There is nothing in this world or any other that I've found that is better than your smile, and it doesn't even matter if I hate being human. I'll be with you, so it'll be worth it. Humans recover from things quite well, actually, and even if we don't fully recover, we'll still be able to go home and throw a stick for our dogs. The angels literally can't take anything else from me- they're not allowed to interfere in lives of humans unless specifically assigned to a a guardian angel, so since I'm a human, I'm safe. Even with all the what ifs and the possibilities, I can tell you this for certain. It's really fricking hard to lose someone like me. I came back from the dead for you. You aren't getting rid of me any time soon." He smiled faintly, not letting go of her hand even through the angle was making his shoulder throb with pain.

Andi stayed very quiet as Tyler seemed to pull his thoughts together and started to speak to her. She could tell by the look on his face that thte tears were paining him to have to watch. She truly wasn't a huge person to cry like this a lot but the more he sat there and comforted her, the more her thoughts formed into silent tears. It was almost like that was the only way they could leave her mind. As Tyler spoke, he was completely truthful about the way the accident could've gone. It truly might've been worse if he had come, she probably would've blamed herself for him coming with her if that's the way things had turned out and with they way he was describing it. At the moment she was grateful he hadn't come along. There would've been no way they would be able to help each other if they both ended up hurt... Well scrath that, TYler would've found a way even if his limbs were about to fall off but that's the way he's always been. Always ready to come and save her even if his life depended on it. Andi sort of wished he was more selfish when it come to that, he could've definintely saved himself a couple of scars if only he had been more focused on himself than on her. Then again, if Tyler were selfish about that, there would be no way in hell she would be alive. From the gun fight, to being jumped in the streets, getting stabbed by a homeless man, having to meet her father again... There was no way she could've survived any of that if Tyler had been thinking about himself for a lot of it. So for that, she was very grateful that he wanted to protect her and keep her safe. Like even right now, even though his wounds hurt more than imaginable, he was still sitting there comforting her as much as he could. That was the moment it finally hit Andi.. Tyler would always be there to protect her, he didn't even have to be an Angel anymore to do it but he would always be there right beside her, guiding her, supporting her, and comforting her even if she didn't think she needed it. She always knew that subconciously about him but it didn't fully hit her till this moment, causing a faint smile to find it's way onto her lips. As Andi pulled out of her thoughts more and continued to listen to him speak. His words starting to form a blanket of security around her, as the tears started to slow and her breath evened right back out..Tyler once again was just truthful as he spoke so his words were 10x more meaning full than anything else. Every sentence just proved her more comfort, making her feel more secure with everything that was going on at the moment. With the comment about her smile, her dimmly lit eyes sort of sparked right up. The already faint smile grew into a gentle one. That small comment made her want to never stop smiling for him, so that's sort of what she wanted to do. She didn't want to hurt him anymore with her tears or her blackhole thoughts, so instead she was going to stay as positive as can be for him. Which was quite easy at the moment as he was filling her with nothing but positive. At his last small comment, she crackked a small chuckle, taking a deep breath before speaking. "I'm glad that I can't get rid of you easily... You've always stuck to me like glue, even if you were a bit of a thorn in my side at times" Her voice was nice and soft, the hurt from earleir was nowhere to be found in her tone. "You're right.. things will be better eventually and I really wish we could skip to a better part cause I'd rather be throwing sticks for Raven and Jasper than being basically tied down here" She kept her same tone, glancign at Jasper as she spoke before moving her gaze back to Tyler then looked down at their hands. She slowly dipped her head down, placing a light kiss on his hand before settling her cheek on the same spot. Even if it did hurt to be hunched over like this, she really didn't care. She just wanted to show Tyler her appreciation even if it was a small gesture.

Tyler watched her, studied her like she was a mystery he had to figure out, seeing how his words were affecting her. As long as he was making this hellhole a little bit better, it'd be worth it. He could ignore his own wounds if it meant stitching up her own, mental ones. His lips twitched into an amused smile at her words about him being a Thorn in her side. "Hey, at least I was a handsome thorn." He stated with an indignant sniff, then focused his attention in a more serious manner. "It does feel like a prison cell." He all but grumbled, glaring at the whitewashed walls with the same look he had used on those boys at the party she had gone to when they first met. Pure menacing evil. His gaze softened as it again moved back to her- it always would. He couldn't stay away for long. His thumb lifted to brush again her cheek as she pressed it to his hand, and he was about to say something when the cold suddenly engulfed his mind. "Oh no. No no no no no no Andi-" He gasped out a mere second before he went completely limp. The heart monitor stated shrieking in the high pitched stereotypical flatline sound. No pulse could be found. - Meanwhile, Tyler jolted awake in that cold dark place he had been in a day or so ago the last time his heart stopped. He looked around wildly, trying to figure out what the hell was going on, when he felt pulled again. This time, when he opened his eyes, he was... in the angel quarters in heaven. The lead angel, Michael, stood above him with a frown. "Tyler." They all but sighed, fingers laced together behind their back. "I am... displeased to inform you that the angels actually made a mistake. They are the ones who interfered and made the car crash happen, to trigger you going to save your precious human and therefore them taking away your powers. However, angels aren't allowed to meddle in human lives unless they're guarding them." Michael was droning, sounding bored. "Therefore, I am obligated to restore you to your former glory and instruct them not to touch you again. When you go back to earth you'll be at your cabin, a full guardian angel, all wounds healed. Your human body will be taken away after the nurses decide you're actually dead, and it will be lost in transaction to the morge. Since you have no records, no one will care. You'll also wake up shaved, caveman. Good day." They waved their hand, and everything went black. - Tyler had so many questions. The ringing in his ears started, followed by him slowly blinking and opening his eyes. The first thing he noticed... no pain. No pain at all. And power buzzed under his skin. He shot upright, looking around. He was in his cabin. He was a full guardian angel. A second after he affirmed this, he was hit by a bullet of black fur, completely knocked to the ground. He let out a yelp of pain, flat on his back on the floor as he was slobbered by an extremely happy Raven. "Hi. Hi. Get off." He grunted, pushing the heavy lab off and climbing to his feet. He touched the spot she had definitely bruised and it immediately healed, then unfurled his wings. Time to go. Urgency plagued his mind as he darted outside and launched himself into the air, shooting towards the town. He needed to get to Andi. She must think he was dead. His chest tightened with the thought and he flew faster, invisible to the outside world. He landed at the hospital and all but ran inside, racing up to the room. Nothing. With a curse, his opened his mind and it only took a second to feel hers. It was a mad dash towards the room he now knew she was in, with him skidding in and slamming into the door with enough force to break it when he realized it was locked. He phased right through it- should've done that in the first place- and, hair wild and eyes wide, looked at her. "Andi!" Immediately he went to her side, touching her arm. The mere connection between them sent a rush of power down his arm and into her, healing her wounds. There. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry- I can explain."

Andi closed her eyes, just enjoying the warmth against her cheek as Tyler made her small comments. This was exactly what she needed, nothing hurting a lot, her mind being quiet, and just being beside him was all that she needed to be able to get through everything. With his first remarked, she sort of scoffed lightly "Whatever floats your boat" *Andi grinned softly, her eyes finally flicking open as she laid her gae onto his face. A small shudder ran down seeing how serious he looked, almost as if he was ready to murder the first person in sight. Admittedly, it was a chilling sight and she hadn't seen that expression on him in quite some time... If she remebered exactly it was back when those rowdy boys were starting to mess with her at the frat party. As she watched his gaze move back towards her and soften, she couldn't help but smile slightly. Andi could look at him all day, he really was a sight to look at. From his deep blue eyes, scruffy black beard, dark locks of hair, and how sharp his features were. Most people might say he was great eye candy... if he was cleaned up a bit... but to her, he was a lot more than good looks. Andi was soon drawn out of her thought as she felt Tylers thumb gently brush her cheek, her faint smile quickly turned a bit brighter as she leaned into the gentle gesture. That moment didn't last long though as her attention was stolen by the sound of the heart monitor erractic beeping. Andi shot her head up from his hand, her eyes quickly darting to him as he gasped out a few last words before just going limp. She was completely shocked from what had happened in front of her, it took a moment but the shrieking of the heart monitor brought her back to reality. While also giving her the harsh reality of what just happened. "No! Tyler!" Andi basically shrieked, throwing herself to sit striahgt up in bed causing a sharp pain to shot down from her chest into her stomach. She really didn't pay much attention to that though as she willed herself out of bed and grabebd onto the side railing of Tylers to hold herself up. At that point nurses came rushing into the room "Code blue!.. Crash cart in here now!... Push one of...." The voices faded into a the background as she squeezed onto his hand for dear life. This couldn't be happening, this was not the way it was going to end.. Right?... They had just been talking and cracking small quips not even a minute ago but now he laid cold and limp right in front of her. There was nothing she could say or do that was going to get him back at that moment. Once again, Andi was snapped back into reality with two nurses grabbing onto either side of her "Ma'am we have to get you out here, the doctors are taking care of it.. We need to move you to another room" One tall male nurses reapeated to her as she tried to fight them off. She was not going to leave that room, they would have to drag her cold dead body out of there but she was not leaving until she saw some sort of life come back into Tylers eyes. "No no no no, you can't take me! I need to be here for him! Please let me be here for him" Her yelling slowly faded into pleading sobs, as they were on the second charge with the paddles and had yet to see any form of heartbeat. The nurses didn't try to argue with her as they fianlly were able to drag her out of the room and into her previous one. ~ A couple of hours since th doctor came by to break the news of Tylers time of death to her, that was followed immeadiately by more gut wrenching sobs. Andi had never cried so hard or so loud in her life before and during those moments she needed to be alone, no check ups, no IV refills, no doctors coming... She needed to have peace, so she locked her own door under the condiotion she would leave the door window open, which she did. After a couple of moments, she had finally gotten herself to quiet down. Now she was jsut curled up into a ball, cleanching her stomach as it cursed her out for launching herself out of bed earleir but that wasn't really her biggest problem on her mind. She couldn't believe what had even happened, her mind hadn't even processed it... Tyler was gone... Dead... and there was no way of getting him back. The Angels weren't going to offer any favors either, they hated his guts. So all she had left of him were the memories, the good and the bad but her most favorite memories stood out the most, like the time Tyler picked her up and threatened to throw her into the lake for not talking, sitting and teasing each other to death with insults, sitting out and watching the stars on the porch, and her most favorite was getting to her him say I love you. It all played through her mind like a never ending movie, she truly wish it never ended. Andi hoped he would just show up beside her so she could see him again, feel his gentle touch, bask in the way his eyes always were studying her softly.... She missed it all and that was enough to send her back into quiet sobs, eventually just crying herself to sleep. That sleep didn't last long though as she heard a loud voice call out to her, a deep scowl crossed her face as she thought a nurse had come in to check on her. Andi quickly whipped her head to look at the person that grabbed her arm but quickly stopped. Her mouth dropped open slightly, her eyes widening as she stared at Tyler, who was surprisingly all healed. He had the color back to him, his touch was warm, and that scraggly beard was off of him. As he frantically asked his questions, she slowly moved to sit up, even more surprised to feel that she didn't have any pain as she did so. "I.. you... how... when.." Andi stammered over her words a bit, almost half wondering if she had crossed over at that point as well. Her arm slowly reached and grabbed his hand that was on her. As soon as she could feel the heat off of him, her eyes shot up to look at him before quickly shifting off the bed and basically throwing herself onto him. Her arms wrapped around his waist tightly, almost in a death drip, as she buried her head into his chest.

Tyler's whole form filled with guilt and concern and sorrow as he saw the red eyes and tear streaked face and all the pain written all over her expression. When she threw herself at him, he immediately wrapped his arms around her, his grip somehow crushing and tender, like she was fragile but if he let go she'd disappear forever. "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry, Andi." He whispered into her hair, eyes closing as he inhaled her scent. His clean shaven face felt tickly against her hair, but he really didn't care. She was here. She was healed. She was safe. After a couple more moments, he moved his hands to her upper arms, pushing her away just enough to look down at her. "I'm back. Actually back- angel powers and all." He stated quietly, holding up one hand and letting it flicker with flame before brushing a stray strand of her hair back from her face. "The lead angel called me up. He says that the others interfered and made you crash, and since angels can't interfere with humans, they stepped over the line and Michael had to restore my powers." He explained quickly. "They won't ever be able to mess with me, therefore you, ever again." He finished, his lips curling into a smile as he pulled her back in, letting out a shuddering breath. "I'm fine. You're fine. We're both fine. And Raven's happy." He added as sort of an afterthought, cradling her carefully. "How do you feel? Did everything heal correctly? I tried to heal you but I might be out of practice." With a worried expression, he put a finger under her chin and tilted her head up, observing her face. No more bruises. "You look great." Tyler mused, his dark eyes softening in relief. If she had jumped up that quickly, she couldn't be in too much pain, right? Then again, he could have every bone forcefully removed from his body and still find some way to get to her. She didn't look hurt anymore, but you could never be too sure. His healing ability should function just fine, but things happened. Specifically on earth. With all this going on, his mind was reeling, so he moved towards the bed after a second and sat down, pulling her down beside him and tucking an arm around her shoulders. He wasn't letting her away from him any time soon. Unless she needed a break. Then he'd just hover like an overprotective guardian angel. He let out a slow, very quiet breath, the tight muscles in his shoulders relaxing just slightly. Everything was fine. Everyone was fine. Even though he was technically dead, he could still just chill here and be with her and it'd all be fine.

Andi Felt like she was basically getting crushed underneath his arms, but at the same time, he was still so gentle with her. Tyler was always gentle with her, no matter how rough he could be with his words or his actions, he always seemed to be gentle with her. So it really didn't matter to her if she was getting crushed or not she was just glad that she could finally be in his arms and hear how fast his heartbeat was from running all the way there. She leaned into him as much as she could just basking in his warmth until he was ready to move. Hearing his apology sent a small sting to her heart She really had no clue why he was apologizing since she knew most likely what had happened wasn't his fault... Even if he gave her a heart attack, it still wasn't his fault. When he finally pulled her back, she looked up at him, her eyes being glossy, but there were no tears, cause she basically cried her eyes out until she had no more tears left to shed, even if they were happy ones. As he explained the news of having his powers back, her browse scrunched together, being extremely confused on what he meant by saying that he was back with his powers. Not even 12 hours ago they had just been talking about how he lost him all so it was a bit confusing on what he meant by that they were back as he brushed some hair out of her face though and continued to explain, a small, subtle smile tug the corners of her lips as he continued on. Andi let him quickly finish his explanation before responding "I can't believe those angels whatever cause an accident like that... they're more devil like than you are" She huffed out quietly before letting him pull her back into his arms, her grip around him starting to relax slightly at the reality of him actually not going anywhere anymore was starting to settle in. "I can imagine Ravens happy, she must be so lonely at the cabin" Andi sort of sulked at the thought of the black lab being left at the cabin but she knew that they would be home soon enough for her. As Tyler's question about her started to kick her, the subtle smile grew into a soft one, she admired how adamant he was about making sure she was okay. It definitely was one of the many things that she enjoyed about him and one of the many reasons she never wanted to leave him. "I'm pretty sure I'm all good... I mean my ribs are screaming at me for jumping up so I think I'll be just fine" Andi spoke softly to him, letting him finish examing her before a small grin spread to her lips from his muse. "I've always looked great" She mused back to him, her eyes now taking their turn to fully take him in. Everything on him seemed to be okay, no bruising, dried blood, he wasn't hissing from pain by now, he all seemed to be in check which was just a true miracle. She could tell though that his mind was racing from everything, there was just a certain look in his eyes that always was a dead giveaway that his gears were turning. So, it was a good call to sit down and she let him guide her to sit down beside him, leaning against him as he wrapped an arm around her. As they sat there, she relaxed right along with him. The tightness in her chest leaving, as well as the knot in her throat from crying started to fade away. For the moment, she didn't want to think about anything that had happened over the last 20 hours but she only wanted to focus on the fact that Tyler was here and that she was able to hear him, see him, and feel his warmth against her. "You gave me such a heartattack... but Im glad to have you here Tyler" She spoke quietly, looking up at herfavorite pair of deep steel blue eyes, a soft smile settling back on her face. "You didn't lie when you said you'd always come back to me either" She sort of chuckled slightly, he truly didn't lie about that but in all honesty Tyler never lied when it came to talking to her.
