Sage sort of wrinkled his nose slightly and chuckled. "I've been doing this every month for my entire life. I've figured out things here and there," he mused. At her comment though, he shook his head. "No....your touch won't ever hurt. Everything else will," he noted dryly closing his eyes against the pain that suddenly swamped him again, sending a small shudder through his body and he gripped her hand.

Flo swallowed, her free hand going to his cheek. "I hate seeing you like this" She whispered, more to herself than to Sage. She tried not to wince when he gripped her hand, especially since his pain was far worse than hers

Sage dimly heard her, but her voice was sort of swirling around his head by then since the migraine was slowly getting worse. It sort of came in waves at first, so once it dulled a bit he relaxed his hold on her hand and let out a small breath. He leaned into her hand slightly, squinting up at her tiredly, pain clear in his gaze. "Just stay with me. I'll be alright if you're just there," he noted quietly before closing his eyes again

Florida nodded. "I'll always be here. I'm not leaving you" She whispered, rubbing her thumb against his cheek in what she hoped was a comforting gesture. She loosened her grip on his hand so that she wouldn't be causing him any more discomfort than he already was

Sage smiled softly and moved to pat her leg gently. "I know," he noted. He sort of lay around like that for a while, before moving to sigh and slide off the bed and settle himself onto blankets he'd set on the floor earlier, feeling his body moving towarsd shifting.

Florida, bit her lip, getting on the ground too. She gently lifted Sage just enough that she could slide her leg under him. She scooted around until her bad leg was stretched out, his head in her lap. She toyed with his hair as she looked down at him, gently running her fingers through the strands

Sage sort of glanced up at Flo, offering her a thankful grin when she slipped under his head, though it was torn away when the searing pain in his body started as bones started breaking and reforming and muscles were snapping and regrowing throughout his body.
