The woman gave a small chuckle before moving to peck his lips, a small laugh escaping her. "So, what you're saying is that my face is in some very random people's houses? That's unsettling," she mused softly to him before moving to press another playful kiss to his lips. She headed downstairs soon enough though, and soon had toast on the table for him. When she saw him coming down the stairs, she couldn't help a little chuckle. "See, you look gorgeous!" She chirped happily to him after a little while, soon enough going to hand him a plate "you need to dress up for me more," she teased him softly.

Sage chuckled lightly and winked in response to her comment. "I'm saying other people agree that you're pretty," he chirped, giving her a grin in response to her kisses. He got ready quickly though, and snorted lightly when she spoke up. 'hey, this is a rare occasion," he mused. 'youd better drink it all in while you can," he added in a more teasing tone. At least it wasn't super fancy.....besides, if it made Mari happy, she knew he'd do literally anything or her. Or the kids, but they weren't the ones dressing up today or anything. He took the plate though, starting on his food hungrily. He'd been hungrier than he'd realized, he supposed, but hey....it had been worth it.

The woman rolled her eyes at him. "All I'm hearing is that my face is hung up in some very random peoples houses," she mused lightly to him before moving to peck his lips at his comments. She looked him up and down and flashed a grin at him. "I promise I'm taking it all in," she mused to him after a moment, sort of moving to run her hand through his hair playfully. She turned and handed him a plate though. "You look lovely babe. Now eat," she mused to him.

Sage had chuckled softly in response to her comment, grinning over at her. "At least your face is pretty," he noted lightly, a flush appearing on his face in response to her next comment. Though he laughed anyway, taking the plate when she handed it to him. "thanks, babe," he mused lightly, settling down into his chair and eating while she moved to get ready for the day a bit more than she was by then. As in, make sure she looked good for later.

The woman sort of raised her brow at him before moving to peck his lips once she'd come back down stairs. She wasn't dressed fancy at all, it was just a bit nicer than what you'd normally find her in. She went to sit next to him after a bit and let out a soft sigh. They weren't going to be busy at all... but they certainly could just spend a bit of time together while they were both happy and healthy.

Sage had worked at his breakfast while the girl got ready, and kissed her back happily once she came back downstairs. "What are you wanting to do before we head out," he asked, finishing up his food and setting the plate and such in the sink, to wash later. Once he was done, he moved back to sitting by his wife, letting out a sort of content huff of air once he'd settled back down again, sort of just watching her with a dumb grin on his face. It did still amaze him how he'd scored soemone like her to marry...it all still seemed so surreal, if that was the right word.

The woman soon enough finished and put her plate to the side. "I'm not sure. I didn't have much planned for us, to be honest," she mused. "If there's anything you need to get done I can give you a hand," she hummed as she plopped down next to him. She sort of stared at the paintings on the walls, most of which Sage had done. He was so talented... not even talented, the amount of work and practice he'd put in to all of his art was really just amazing. She sort of glanced at him, just to se a stupid grin on his face and gave a smile before pecking his lips happily.

Sage had hummed in response to her comment, sort of thinking of what they could do. He was quiet for a bit, just thinking....and watching Mari. Which didn't really help him think of anything to do, but whatever. Eventually he huffed out a breath and got up, holding a hand out to the girl. "Fine, I'll just give you your gifts now then," he chirped, sort of tugging her gently towards the art room, where her paintings were hidden under cloth he'd drapped over them. There was the one of her on the beach he'd done a while ago, but there was also some detailed ones of the kids, each year of their life. They were smaller than the other...much smaller, around 8 x 8s. But he figured it would be nice to hang them up soemwhere, maybe in their rooms or something. He'd keep doing it...sort of like a scrapbook of sorts. Yearly snapshots of their babies.

The woman gave a small grin when he offered to give her the gifts, and followed him along happily, hand in hand. When he took her into the art room, she sort of cocked her head then gave a grin when he showed her the art. She sort of picked up one of the smaller ones with the kids, with Silas and Liz sat next to eachother, just sort of looking at eachother curiously. She couldn't help her little grin and moved to peck her husband softly. "These are wonderful Sage!" She chirped. "They'll look lovely in the living room," she chirped to him.

Sage had eagerly moved into the art room, pointing out the paintings of the kids, figuring she'd really like those. "I figured it would be nice to have something of them each year," he chirped happily before pointing to the bigger canvas in The back of the room. That was the one of her on the beach, which he'd recreated a couple times, but this was his best he thought. "That one too," he hummed. "That's the original one of you that's in people's houses," he added with a chuckle, clearly teasing her about the mini mock argument they'd had earlier about it all. Butjonce all was said and done, he moved to help her hang them all up where she wanted them, just grinning stupidly as he watched her hustle about happily.
