The woman rolled her eyes at him with a small smile. "Somewhere? You mean like a hospital?" She chuckled gently to him after a moment, sort of flopping back on him with a grin. "I mean, you'd know what that's like hm?" She teased softly to him. She sort of looked up at him for while, just taking in his features happily. She sort of pouted when he spoke but nodded and forced herself up with a small huff of air. "Yeah, I suppose so," she murmured softly to him.

Sage had simply chuckled in response to her comments, sort of just letting the conversation go. He didn't mind either way, if they kept talking, but he had to admit it was nice to just lay there and cuddle for a bit, in the nice quiet house. He noticed the girl watching him, and gave her a small grin before just nestling in again happily. When she mentioned she was ready to go, he nodded and waited for her to get to her feet before rising himself with a grunt. "Are we walking there or should I hitch up Chaos quick," he asked, cocking his head slightly as they made their way to the door happily. He was excited, he could admit that.

The woman sort of stood up after a moment and shook her head. "We've got time. Let's just walk," she chirped gently to him. She offered him her hand after a moment. "Some fresh air will do us good anyway," she hummed gently to him. Skipping out the door with a happy grin before looking back at him and slowing down a little. She was just a excited to spend a little bit of time out the house, she supposed.

Sage had nodded happily in response to her comment, taking her hand happily as they wandered out of the house. "Sounds fine to me," he chirped lightly, more than glad to just wander around after her until she'd slowed down and he could catch up and take her hand again. He stayed close enough to brush his shoulders against hers as they walked, just glad to be there. The walk was nice, and it had, admittedly, been a while since he'd been able to get out and take a walk or do anything like this.

The woman gave a little smile before just sort of wandering along. It was a nice little restaurant they were going through, though it was on the other side of the village. She sort of gave a small smile after a moment. "When was the last time we actually went for a wander together?" She asked with a small chuckle. The last time they'd actually been for a walk together just got the sake of it must have been years ago now. It probably ended with one of them being really injured too. She let out a soft breath after a little bit, gently bumping his shoulder... he was pretty much better now, but she was also concerned he was still fragile... he wasn't, but she supposed she'd just started to worry be was always going to be injured.

Sage had walked next to her in silence, happy to just take everything in. Though, when she spoke, he glanced over at her before cocking his head in thought as he looked back out at the town. "I'm not sure," he mused. "Our anniversary maybe, but we weren't here for that so I don't know that it counts," he noted with a chuckle. In all honesty, ever since that woman, he hadn't been keen on going out by himself. He and Mari had done a few things since then, but he realized with a start he hadn't gone into the market like this for quite some time. Oh well...it was nice to be back now. "I'd missed it," he hummed, bumping her back with a grin.

The woman shook her head at him. "No, that doesn't count," she mused to him. "We had a reason to go out then... the beach, and we were on a trip," she sort of looked up at him with a little smile. "We used to go out all the time," she hummed softly as they padded along. She went out to the market a lot got food and things... but they never just went for a walk. Not any more, anyway. She'd missed going out too. It was so strange to think that Sage had lived out here at some point, and now he barely came down here. "And to think, I spent all my time trying to get you to stop trying to run back here," she mused softly.

Sage had chuckled softly in response to her comment, nodding in agreement. "Yeah," he agreed lightly. "It has been a while since we've done anything," he noted with a shrug. "We did," he noted with a sort of sigh. "Maybe we should come out here more often," he suggested. "picnics by the lake or something," he added with a shrug. "as a family or just us." He didn't mind one way or the other. Though, at her next comment, he couldn't help but laugh. "Now you need to keep me from living in the barn," he mused with a chuckle. Though he let out a sort of sigh as he glanced at the streets he used to live in. "I do miss it sometimes," he admitted.

The woman nodded in agreement. They just needed to get out and do things more together. Sage was either in the barn is sick and she was always with the kids. Every now and then it'd be nice to just get out for a bit. "We need to make time to just go out together or with the kids every now and then. It's nice just to go for a wander," she hummed softly to him before flashing another little smile. "I don't mind keeping you from the barn! At least I know you're coming back!" She mused lightly to him, giving a small chuckle as she linked arms with him. "What do you miss about it?" She asked curiously.

Sage had hummed in agreement and nodded in response to her comment, thinking for a moment to come up with some ideas. "We could go to the market together too," he suggested. "Let the kids pick something small out each and help us look for stuff. We could come up with small competitions and such....split up and see who can find something first," he mused lightly. That may be fun. He supposed they'd just have to figure things out as they went. He chuckled in response to her comment about the barn, humming in thought when she asked what he missed about it. "Well, I grew up there," he mused. "It wasn't all bad." He thought for another moment before shrugging. 'it taught me a lot of things," he added softly. "And...I guess a part of me still wants to just run around in the woods all day. The thrill of hunt or be hunted. There was just something to it that..made sense, I guess," he mused. "Seems ironic, but having to get everything I needed for myself made me feel like I could do anything," he laughed, shaking his head slightly.
