Mari sort of looked up at him with a small chuckle, her head shaking a little. She sighed and sort of settled down against him. She would start star gazing, except it was still to light out. She sort of looked over at him after a moment then pecked his cheek. "We can do it more often, you know," she mused gently to him. "We've got the time. You're better now, and we don't have to spend all our time at home," she mused softly to him. She looked up at him when she felt him shrug, his grin making her face light up. "Yeah, that's a bonus I suppose. And I have you all to myself," she hummed in thought before pouting. "Not that it makes a difference," she mused lightly.

Sage had hummed lightly in response to her comment, pressing a quick kiss to her head in response to her comment. "That would be nice," he admitted. "I'm sure your mom or the doctor or Anthony wouldn't mind watching them more either," he mused. Then he chuckled. "Of course, your mom would probably like to see us too," he admitted. He hadn't seen Edith since the first day he'd been brought home from the doctors ward, so she'd probably like having him visit and seeing that everyone was healthy. But whatever. He'd chuckled at her other comments though, just happy to be with her.

The woman gave a smile to him before giving a small chuckle. "My mum likes you," she mused before sort of looking back up at him. "And the kids. We need to go see them at some point." She sort of pouted over at him before before playing with a few stands of hit hair. "And the doctor," she chuckled lightly. She patted his chest after a couple of moments and pecked his neck happily. "It just means we can get away for a little while every now and then, just the two of us," she hummed lightly.

Sage hummed lightly when she mentioned the older woman. "And I like your mum, he noted with a sort of chuckle. "we should visit both of them soon, so they know I'm still alive," he added with amusement. He grinned over at the girl in response to her peck and pressed a kiss to the top of her head, arm around her shoulders moving to run his fingers through he hair absentmindedly. "I'd like that," he hummed, relaxing where he was sitting with a content huff of air.

The woman sort of gave a small smile before moving to peck his cheek happily. "It's a shame that we have to go out of our way to let people know you're not dead yet," she teased softly to him. When he started running his fingers through her hair, she gave a smile and gently tugged his shirt. "Should we head back before it gets dark and I have to let our family know you are dead?" She asked with a bit of a laugh.

Sage had chuckled lightly in response to her comment, giving her a sort of mischevious grin. "I keep them on their toes," he mused. "Keeps 'em young," he added with a chirp, obviously just messing around. He was quiet for a while longer as they sat there, though when Mari spoke up he nodded and moved to stand with a grunt. "Yeah," he murmured lightly. They should head back before dark...it was just safer that way, they both knew that. Besides, he supposed he was getting tired by now. It would be good to get home and get ready for bed. Maybe cuddle a while longer before that.

The woman watched him stand up with a bit of a smile. "I'll make us some snacks and we can sit in bed for a while," she chirped to him before moving stand with a small hum. "You tired?" She asked with a small chuckle as they started wandering back. It wasn't that late, but it also definitely wasn't early just yet. She looked over to him with a little grin. "You're getting old," she mused with s bit of a chuckle.

Sage grinned over at the girl and nodded when she mentioned snacks, pressing a quick kiss to her lips before taking her arma nd wandering along next to her happily. "That sounds great to me," he chirped, wrinkling his nose at her tease. "I'm healing," he squeaked, bumping her side gently. "there's a difference," he added with a chuckle. He knew they were really just joking around, but there was some truth to it. They did seem much older than they were...it was an odd feeling, really but it wasn't one he minded all the time either. But they could tease, and he enjoyed their little banters, he really did.

Mari looped her arm around his happily, sort of hoping along next to him with a grin. She rolled her eyes at him after a moment before giving a small chuckle. "Maybe you're old and healing," she chuckled lightly, though she knew as well as he did they were both getting on a little. It wasn't a bad thing, and they were lucky enough to get on with each other. "That's fine. I'll run a bath for you then maybe you can have a massage while you have a snack," she mused lightly to him after a moment or two.

Sage had chuckled softly in response to her comment, shrugging after a moment. "Maybe so," he mused. "I do feel old time to time, when I realize I can't keep up with the kids all day," he laughed, shaking his head. "Though I couldn't do that when I was eighteen either," he admitted softly. When she spoke up again, he nodded happily and pecked her cheek lightly. "that sounds lovely to me," he chirped, holding the door open for her once they got back and moving to grab some pajamas and such while Mari turned the bath and such on.
