Caden stilled,staying silent.When he felt the warmth of Rose he flinched and turned around,eyes wide.His face relaxed though. "Yeah.Let's go." He muttered quietly,grabbing things.

Rose followed him out and kissed him before climbing into her own car and following him back to the house.

Caden and Rose arrived home and he unpacked,organizing things.Murphy greeted him but,Caden's mind was somewhere else,somewhere else trying to remember things.He silently passed Rose at one point,head facing low.

"Caden." Rose said, walking up to him. "Hey, you okay?" She asked, taking his hand and trying to look in his eyes. "If something's wrong, can I help?" She asked, desperate to keep him from becoming scared or deprressed again

He looked up at her,eyes red and face tired. "Im fine.Just,remembering a lot of stuff right now." Caden said,cracking a fake smile to cover up.He walked off,back to what he was doing.

Rose nodded, looking down and walking upstairs. She sighed and sat on the bed, watching Tiktok and wishing life could go back to when Caden didn't have secrets and they would go to the gym and they would watch each other play their sport. She felt a tear of yearning roll down her face, sad that their life wouldn't ever go back to normal

"I'll be back later." Caden said,grabbing his gym bag and walking out. "Love you" He called,walking out the door.The c8 rolled in on a car trailer,shining more than ever.Caden hopped in once he discussed payment etc. with the hauler.Caden revved the engine,a true smile apperaing on his face. "Oh how I missed this car." He purred,backing out of the driveway.

"Love you too." She said, watching him off the balcony as he left. She sat on the bed and watched Tiktok, waiting for him to come home

Caden skirted onto the road,gunning it down the highway.He did the workout that Rose never belived she could,the last workout that felt good.He drove back and walked in,laughing. "Rose,Rose.I got the c8 back and honsetly most of the bad stuff went boom so hopefully,i'll be fine." Caden beamed,a smile etching itself on his face.
