The woman chuckled lightly and patted his chest playfully. "You two caused so many problems, you know that?" She asked with a chuckle. She sort of nodded in agreement. "She'll need support either way. She's alone up there," she murmured. Really, all the woman had was the doctor and a fifteen year old child. Her parents weren't particularly caring, and she wouldn't really have a lot of support around her. She took his hand once he'd finished all his jobs and sort of led him inside. "We've not heard anything about it... I'd be a little bit concerned," she murmured gently.

Sage grinned over at the girl and nodded. "And the castle folk haven't forgiven either of us," he noted lightly before putting the colt back in his stall and finishing checking everything over as Mari kept talking. "Yeah," he murmured. "She'll be stressed about it all, if I know Mari at all. Overthinking it all," he hummed. He'd help if she needed it, and he hoped she knew that. Even if it was just to go through something. "I know," he sighed, moving to take her hand and wander after her back to the house. "I'll try to get some information about it all when we go down there," he mused.

Mark sort of pouted at him before patting his shoulder gently. "I still haven't forgiven you babe and I live with you," she chuckled lightly to him. She did feel bad for the other woman. She'd had everything planned out for her, and so suddenly she had to do it all herself. She must be terrified about it all. She went to make some tea as she listened to her husband, pecking his cheek as she handed him a cup. "I don't think we need to worry about it to much for now. If we haven't heard anything then it can't be too bad," she murmured gently to him. It couldn't be good... but the country wasn't in dismay so it couldn't be that bad.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment and pecked her cheek lightly before plopping down on a chair in the kitchen as Mari went to make the tea, taking the cup when she handed it to him. "I know," he noted with a chuckle. "Though, I'm sure she's stressing about things and not telling anyone. The woman's stubborn," he snorted lightly. "But the king and queen haven't kicked the bucket yet since everyone isn't being told to mourn for forever," he added with an eyeroll. Maybe it still wasn't the wisest thing to talk about them like that, but hed been doing that his entire life and he'd been fine. So whatever. He'd decided he didn't care a while ago.

The woman gave small smile to him before rolling her eyes. "Shh, you can't say that about them," she mused lightly to him. "Plus, no one down here does what they're told anyway," she mused lightly to him. She then sort to put her cup to the side with a huff. "I'd mourn for you forever if you told me to," she mused lightly to him. She pecked his cheek with a bit of a pout. "Well you can go make sure everything is together," she chirped to him.

Sage had chuckled softly in response to Maris comment, giving the girl a cheeky grin . "I've said similar things to the queens face and I'm still around so I figure it's not too bad," he chirped lightly before shrugging in response to her next comment. "Fair point," he mused before pecking her cheek lightly. "I'd rather you not be sad forever," he mused. "but it'll be good to too to the two of them anyway," he admitted

Mari rolled her eyes at him before moving to peck his cheek. "That's just because you have Anya protecting you from her," she chuckled lightly to him. "Image what would happen if the king heard you saying that sort of thing!" She mused to him. She sort of wrapped her arms around him playfully after a little while. "How could I not be sad forever? I looove you!" She teased lightly to him. She did agree though... it would be nice to see everyone. She'd never really gotten on with Anya, but she liked the queen and the doctor so she could get excited.

Sage had shrugged in response to her comment with a grin. "True," he mused. "Im pretty sure he did, at Christmas, but he was so drunk he was hugging a tree so I doubt he could do anything," he noted with a chuckle. Though, he just gave her a laugh and shake of his head when she mentioned she'd be sad. "Noooo stay happy," he mused dramatically.

The woman cocked her head at him before pouting. "That's not an appealing thought," she chuckled lightly to him, trying to imagine the kind hugging trees. She didn't much like the man, he was sour and cold to the world, but the thought didn't amuse her. She placed a dramatic hand to her forehead before flopping back onto his lap. "How can I stay happy when you're dead?!" She yelped dramatically before letting out a heavy breath of air, a happy little grin across her face. "I'll never be happy again," she complained in a joking manner.

Sage chuckled softly and wrinkled his nose slightly, thinking back with a cocked head. "I suppose it wouldn't be so great if it couldn't be used for blackmail," he noted with a shrug. "Of course, we were all having a good time celebrating new Year's so everything seemed funny then," he added lightly, laughing when she flopped onto his lap, poking her gently with a grin. "You'll get over it," he mused, really just glad to spend some time messinga round at home with her before the kids were brought back.
