Mari couldn't help her little grin when the boy moved down her neck, a little hum escaping her as she moved to run her hands into his hair. She could tell he was getting a bit greedy... but so was she. She was enjoying herself too, and certainly hoped he was enjoying himself just as much. She soon started to let out soft whines though, and wrapped herself around him the best she could, pulling him in but in truth it didn't do much. They couldn't really get any closer if they'd tried.

Sage had sort of hummed lightly in responsse to the girl's hum, pressing his lips agaisnt her skin a little bit more and then running his teeth lightly along her as time went on. They were still being a bit slow, he supposed, compared to some of the other times they'd done this sort of thing. But it wasn't unwelcomed. But, when she started to make her little noises, he really couldnt help but move things forward a bit. It was much, much later when he'd rolled off the girl and flopped over next to her, chest heaving but a grin plastered on his face. He did love the kids but....time the two of them was very nice.

It was a little while until they were finished, but the girl sort of rolled over to curl up next to him, a little bit exhausted but she'd clearly enjoyed herself. She was breathing a little bit heavy, but nowhere near as much as Sage was. A sort of giggle escaped her, but she'd soon settled down a bit more, and pretty much passed out. The kids would be home soon, but she could enjoy the rest while they could.

Sage had wrapped his arms around the woman tiredly when she'd curled up next to him, letting his eyes drift shut after a few moments, just really enjoying having her there with him. It had been so long since they'd had any sort of time just the two of them, of any kind...and it had been even longer since they'd done anything of this sort. But he had missed it. Though, he did find himself eager for the kids to return too. It was all so nice, really. He felt a grin form on his face at Mari's giggle, though she was drifting off so he didn't comment on it. He fell asleep pretty quickly after that himself, only waking when he heard the knock on the door, slipping out of bed and tucking Mari in gently before getting dressed quickly and letting the kids and Edith, who was with them, in and helping bring in the kids' things and all. He'd let Mari sleep...he was still tired himself, so she deserved to rest he figured.

Mari slept for a long while, sort of shifting and settling back down when she'd been tucked in. About an hour later though, her mother had left and the kids were playing around happily. It was dinner time by then, and she was admittedly hungry, so sort of rolled out of her bed and moved to put on a robe before all adding downstairs. She chuckled when the kids ran over to her, picking Lizzie up before giving Silas a little hug hello. She looked up at Sage with a small smile. "What are we wanting for dinner?" She asked with a light smile.

Sage was tired, but he certainly didn't mind having the kids back home. He also was glad to say hello to Edith, who seemed jsut as glad to see him, since the last time they'd talked he'd been fresh out of surgery and all that. They caught up quickly, and got the kids settled back in and eating dinner, before Mari wandered down, where Sage greeted her happily, pecking her on the cheek as she scooped up Liz. "I just threw together some sandwiches since the kids were on their way in and your mom only had a bit of time before she had to head back home," he hummed lightly, setting a plate down in her spot before grabbing a sandwich for himself as well.

Mari gave a small smile to the boy and sort of plopped down on her seat. She looked over at Silas and raised a brow. "Were you good?" She asked the child, to which she got a massive grin and a nod. He really was starting to look like his father, and she couldn't be happier for it. She stared to eat the sandwich before going to clean the plates up.

Sage chuckled when Mari asked Silas if he was good and gave the boy a grin. 'hes always, good, isn't that right, little man," he mused, ruffling the boys hair fondly, which he had insisted on growing out 'just like Dad's, in the boys own words. It was sweet, really, and sage could have probably started sobbing about it when it had happened if he let himself think too much about it. It was amusing really. Soon enough though, they were done, and the kids were putting their stuff away while he and Mari cleaned up dinner.

Mari grinned over at him after a moment before stating to wash up. After a little bit she went to rest on the couch, and Liz had ran over and curled up at her side, asking her to play with her hair. The massive grin that crossed her face was stupid, but she agreed to the request before moving to peck the top of her daughter's head and quickly moved to play with her hair. She brushed through an plaited it a few times before it started getting late, so she put it in Dutch braids before telling her and Silas to go get ready for bed.

Sage had helped Mari clean up before Liz had ran up to her and so he wandered over to plop down on the ground next to Silas, who's been playing with some blocks and cars and such, making a little city out of it all. He was more than happy to move the little figures around when Silas told him to, though when Mari started shooting them upstairs, he chuckled and waved off Silas, agreeing to leave the city up for a few days. He got up off the floor with a groan once the kids had run off, fairly amused at the amount of effort it took to actually get to his feet. He really was becoming an old man.
