Mari gave a small groan when she felt his shift, but sort of tugged his arm back around her. "Sit still old man," she huffed before settling back down and pulling the blankets back up a little. She was still a little bit exhausted, really for no reason. They hadn't done a lot, like at all, and they'd spent most of the day in bed. And in truth, being able to settle down for a little bit was really quite nice.

Sage had sort of chuckled in response to Mari's comment, humming lightly as he settled down around her. "you don't have to tell me twice," he hummed, honestly still half asleep. "I was gonna make you breakfast in bed," he mused after a moment, tone slgihtly amused. But he settled back down again quickly, more than glad to just cuddle some more and wake up slowly. He always enjoyed that...and not just because he didn't like waking up. It was just nice to be there and relax with Mari, no matter how often they did it or anything. It was always so, so nice.

Mari felt a slight smile spread across her face after a moment, a small but very tired chuckle escaping her. "Shh just cuddle," she mused, though at his next comment a small hun escaped her. "Actually that would have been nice..." she teased gently before moving to tug his arm around her tighter. "I'll come make breakfast in a bit," she murmured softly. "Waffles and clotted cream sound good?" She asked with a little smile.

Sage had chuckled softly in response to her comment, settling down quickly in response to her comment. "Yes, ma'am," he chirped lightly, movign to curl around her tighter after a moment. He really was happy to do this...it was always nice to cuddle with his wife. "Well now I'm not getting up...i'm cozy," he chuckled softly before nodding in response to her suggestion. "That sounds fine," he hummed lightly with a shhort nod, closing his eyes again. He was content just to lay around for a while longer.

The woman felt a little grin cross her face when he curled around her, so she sort of curled up into a ball and clutched onto his hand happily. "You don't have to get up now. If you do you're going to start cracking and I won't be able to settle down again," she mused gently, then sort of moved to turn around and just limpeted back onto him. "Good. Because im in such a mood for waffles," she mused lightly, sort of moving to peck his lips as she buried her nose into his neck happily.

Sage simply gave the girl a snort in response to her comments, though it was a rather amused one. "Oh, well, then, I'm sorry my old man knees would be loud enough to wake you," he huffed with a light breath, opening his eyes when she rolled over and wrapping his arms around her happily before closing them again, nestling into her and burying his nose in her hair happily. "Then we can make them," he hummed lightly, alibet sleepily.

The woman chuckled before shaking her head. "I mean, it's not ideal," she started, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "But I didn't even think you'd make it to being old!" She mused. He wasn't old, not really, but considering everything he'd been through, they were lucky to still have him a round. Very lucky, actually. "I'm glad you did make it through. You're to pretty to die," she joked softly before moving to peck his lips again. When he tugged her in, a little smile spread across her cheeks before she looking up at him. "In a little while we can," she hummed softly.

Sage had hummed lightly in response to her comment before grunting in agreement and nodding. "In all reality, I hadn't expected to make it past tewnty," he mused, thinking back to all the times he'd fully expected to die. It had been twice now he had dies, and the doctor's efforts had quickly brought him back. And then pumped him full of steroids until his body could take over again. "Oh, so that's why you want me around then, you just like looking at me," he teased her lightly, opening his eyes when she kissed him and kissed her back happily. "Alright," he hummed, closing his eyes as he nestled in again, just happy to relax there with her. He'd thought it a million times by now, but he supposed he'd never stop thinking it. How lucky he was to have her, and the kids. He very well could have died unhappy.....a long time ago...but he'd decided that this was better a while ago.

The woman gave a small laugh at his comment before shaking her head, still a little sleepy but happy to talk. "When I first saw you running around the castle, I didn't think you'd make it until the end of that year," she mused gently before shaking her head. She was definitely glad he had, though. She was glad she got to meet him, fall in love and start a family... a family she realised she couldn't live without. She sort of pouted at him as a thought crossed her mind. "God Sage you're in your thirties now," she mused lightly. She then gave him a very sultry look before shaking her head. "Well if you're dead I can't look at you anymore," she pouted at him before sort of moving to run a hand down his chest and torso. "I wouldn't be able to touch you," she hummed, pecking his lips softly. "Or kiss you," she chuckled. "And that would be a shame because I'm not going to find someone as pretty as you again!" She teased him lightly.

Sage chuckled softly and nodded in repsonse to her comment. "I would have to agree with you there," he mused. "I didn't think I'd last long at that point either," he noted with a sort of chuckle. "It does seem crazy, doesn't it," he hummed, a light blush forming on his face when he caught the girls look, and it really only got deeper as she continued. "So you're saying you like touching and looking at me," he purred, really just teasing the girl a little bit.
