10:50:18 Trigger 🐾 I have a, um, pee box haha. It will keep the cup... contained. |
10:49:51 Myth/Crowley/Grinch 10:49:15 Void Malign Truthfully, no drug test is 100% full proof. A lot of it is how benign things are metabolized into things that are close to things the assay tests for |
10:49:02 New dang, three bravery quests in a row. Hopefully I can knock all three out at the same time |
10:48:31 Snow❆Gem @myth
Ah, OK. And whhuuttt? O.o Closed the door by itself? |
10:47:55 Void Malign hair follicle is unreliable since it can throw false positives from anything that might be on the hair itself |
10:47:46 Granny C lol I'd opt for a full hazmat suit. |
10:47:39 Myth/Crowley/Grinch Gem There are at least two breeds in these ones. One just trapped it's self in the barn. |
10:46:01 Trigger 🐾 Oh it is wonderful granny. And if they choose to fight it I get to drive their pee cup back to the office to be sent off for advanced testing. Thankfully no one I have tested so far since being at this job has wanted to fight it. I carry my own box of gloves around though lol |
10:45:52 Snow❆Gem @myth
All breeds of sheep?! O.o You you guys have only had one breed so don't know?
@granny
Ah, OK. And urine tests have to be easier for males... >.> |
10:43:27 Granny C Trigg - not the most reliable, from what I heard. Still, it sounds like it would be yucky. lol |
10:42:03 Granny C Gem - yea, I had the follicle one done once. Took it from the back of my hairline. It's the root they took. Not a big deal. |
10:41:19 Trigger 🐾 Pee test. Hair follicle is too expensive to administer here without probable cause. |
10:40:59 Myth/Crowley/Grinch 10:38:06 Snow❆Gem @granny
Honestly, I'd prefer the hair one. lol I've got 10+ inches, so that's MONTHs they can test. I'm clean as a brand new whistle! |
10:36:33 Granny C Trigger - curious, is the drug test a pee test or the hair follicle one ? |
10:36:03 Snow❆Gem @bay
Breed EEE+ with EEE+. ;P
@myth
Ah, OK. How's it going to be better in two weeks? I just wish I could it a decent job soon... Need to apply for some again. I'll try the cleaning job that's not to far away. For a small Fedex location. |
10:33:36 Myth/Crowley/Grinch Been better. Want the next two-ish weeks to be over. You? |
10:33:28 The Brindle Princess Great, three breeding quests in a row and all three are for premium horses |
10:31:35 Snow❆Gem @myth

Sage sort of winced in response to her comment. He'd visited when he could...but he was working. Supporting an entire family. Running two businesses, and art didn't exactly take no time to complete. He was really very busy, and he'd learned how to manage it in a way he could get it all done. And get it all done well. "I've visited you quite a bit," he huffed slightly, not angry but....well, her attitude was starting to get on his nerves. He was trying to help...and while he understood she wasn't feeling great, and definitely wasn't herself because of everything in her life....the alcohol combine with her snappish nature had already set him on edge. There were too many bad memories involving alcohol for him to be entirely comfortable. "Anya," he sort of just sighed when she mentioned helping att, shaking his head slightly as he tried to think of a response. "Sometimes life sucks, and I'm not trying to say this doesn't suck, but if you just wallow in it it'll only get worse," he muttered after a moment, setting the coffee cup down on the counter slightly harder than he intended to. "and if you want to push me away too, fine. But if you want to actually help yourself you'll find a way to work towards that goal, not just sink deeper," he half snapped, rather fed up with her attitude. No....no, he was upset. Upset she was pushing him away, after everything they'd done and been through. Upset she was snapping at him for trying to help and support her. Upset.....because it felt like he was loosing her all over again. And he hated it. Hated all of it. And this was her choice....she was choosing to do this.

Anya couldn't help her small chuckle when the boy tried to say he'd visited. He hadn't really. He'd been sick or injured and she'd happened to be around. He only really came over when he wanted something... like now. He'd came over yesterday to find out what was going on, but that wasn't for her. It was so he could look after his family. "No, Sage. You've been looking after your family. And that's fine. I'm happy for you, you don't need to come up here any more," she breathed softly. He always did this shit to her... it felt like he was always pushing her one step too far. She wasn't allowed to be upset, because Sage had always been through worse. Well, it wasn't like that this time. Sure, she wasn't going to be kidnapped or killed... but she was loosing what little family she had left. She was getting married to effectively a stranger, and taking over a kingdom that wouldn't be any better off because of it. She scoffed at his next comment, raising her brows a little. "Sage I've literally got the world on my shoulders right now. I'm doing everything I can. I'm about to lose the only people that have had my back since the very start. I don't think you quite understand that though so let's try this... I'm about to lose my only family. These are only people who love me as much as I love them, I'm allowed to be upset," she muttered, though flinched when he put the cup down. She didn't get it. She was supposed to have such an easy life but... it seemed like everything was being taken away from her. She'd lost Luther. Sage too, and now her parents... she was supposed to crate a better kingdom, but how could she do that without the support of those people? She knew Sage was trying to help, but she just felt heavier. She'd loved him so much, but not every word that came out of his mouth was scolding and angry, and she just felt worse for it. She was trying to make herself feel just a bit better, in any way that she could... so why couldn't he just let her? Leave her be and struggle quietly like she had for her whole life?

Sage felt the muscles in his jaw jump when Anya practically told him to get lost. She was talking like he'd abandoned her long ago, and like he didn't care at all about her. Though, her next comments just seemed....sad. Hopeless. His face softened slightly and he sighed again, shaking his head silently. "I'm not saying that you can't be upset," he told her gently. "I am saying to let yourself grieve. Because this...," he waved and arm at the room, the bottles, the way she had papers piled on her desk unopened, ..."this is just going to make you feel worse," he noted. "Your world is crumbling around you, I get that. You've got it rougher than most, and I will admit I don't know what it's like to loose a parent. But I do know what it's like to feel hopeless, and I know how hard it was to force myself to grieve and to accept help," he told her, moving to gently place his hands on her shoulders. "you're a good person, Anya, and I love you like a sister. Let me help," he murmured. "You helped me, so, so many times. Let me support you now."

Anya scrunched her face up, just sort of running her hand over her face tiredly. She didn't really know what to say to him... she'd just had enough. It felt like everything hurt. And god her head was throbbing. She sort of just looked around the room and gave a short nod. She was exhausted, and everything just seemed to be building up. She just rested her head on her hand, trying to run everything through her head... though it just wasn't working. She couldn't really access her thoughts right then. Granted, the alcohol hadn't helped but she'd done that to herself. She knew he was trying to help, but in truth it didn't mean much to her. "I know," she muttered softly, though by now that was all she could get out. She was just blocking people out now, and unfortunately Sage was the only person close enough that she had to. She sort of looked over at him before sighing softly. "I know, thanks," she murmured softly to him, not really knowing what else to say. Though when he moved to put his hands on her shoulders, a sudden wave of exhaustion came over her, and before she could say anything she pretty much just flopped down on the table, passed out.

Sage had just nodded when she'd agreed with him. Well, it wasn't really an agreement so much as an acknowledgement that she knew he was right. Which was, at least, one good sign. Well ...he figured it was a good sign, to be at least a little willing to let him help. He squeezed her shoulders gently in response to her comment, then let out a small noise of surprise when she passed out, reaching forward so she didn't hit her head on the desk. He sighed again, then move to slide her chair out as quietly as possible and scoop her up, settling her in her bed. He figured she needed the rest, so he'd let her sleep. He found some pain meds and set that and a water next to the bed, since he figured she'd be hungover by the time she woke up. Once that was done, he worked at just....organizing all the stuff in her room and on her desk. He was by no means an organized person, which meant he'd learned to do things in a way organized enough for him to run both the horses and his art. It wasn't easy, but if Mari could find something that worked for her, it would help her stress levels. For now, he made a couple piles of the things she needed to get done ...urgent, important, and a third pile that wasn't so important. It made everything look less...busy. less scary, he supposed. Easier to manage. Then he simply sat down and waited, sketching one of the horses absentmindedly.

The woman must have been out for a little while... she was so tired, and in truth she probably needed the rest. It must have been a good hour and a half before she finally woke up again. She spotted the pain killers on the side and a water, she hummed and went to down them before rolling out of bed... she sort of wandered into the bathroom, washed her face then stumbled out, though nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw Sage in the corner. She cursed herself before rolling her eyes and sort of looked over at him. She was still slightly buzzed, but not enough for it to be overly apparent. "Why are you still here," she asked softly, her brows pinched together. I thought you had to go and see to Att," her voice was hoarse and tired, but she didn't seem too fazed. She sort of looked around the room, everything seemed a lot less... cluttered. She let out a soft breath. She couldn't remember much of their conversation, but she supposed it didn't matter much. He'd be gone soon. She walked over to him with furrowed brows and peered over his shoulder, only to see him drawling a horse. She shrugged and sort of waddled back to bed.

Sage had let Anya wake up and do as she pleased, though when she nearly jumped out of her skin he chuckled softly. "I think att can wait a little longer until you get your mind about you," he noted lightly, looking up at her as she wandered over. At least she seemed curious, and not quite so...angry. that was good. "Why don't you rest for a while longer, while I go find att, and then I'll come back and we can sort through some of that paperwork," he suggested after a bit of time had passed. She was already heading back to bed, so it seemed like a decent plan.

The woman sort of nodded, though waved her hand at him. "My mind is around don't you worry," Anya huffed out a breath before looking over at him. She was definitely not the friendliest right then... or maybe she was just a bad drink. She didn't know, all she knew is that she'd been left alone for the last week or so and all of a sudden Sage was there trying to tell her what to do. Well, more guide her... she knew he was trying to help, but she wasn't used to the support, so it felt more like criticism... well, it was a little bit, but he was trying to help she supposed. She gave a little smile and soon enough moved to settle down on the bed... though the more she sat still the more she felt like she wasn't doing anything right... it made it worse. But still, she tried to rest the best she could for a little while.

Sage sort of nodded after a moment, moving to stand up and wander over towards the door. "I'll be back," he hummed as he moved out, closing the door quietly behind him. He wandered around, checking in the places he knew att liked to hang out, eventually finding him in the stables with the new colt. "You two seem to be getting along," he chirped lightly, moving to come up behind the teen and then to his side, reaching over to pat the colt happily.

The younger boy was sort of sat in the stable with the colt, just grooming him and spending a little bit of time with him... it was nice to have something to do other than train, he supposed. And he did love the colt. He wa a goofy thing, but playful and definitely gave the best cuddles. He gave a grin to the man when he came around the corner, and nodded happily. "He's perfect," he chirped before patting the youngster on the neck. "Very friendly too," he mused as Luther went to wiggle his lip in his hair. It took a moment but he convince the horse to stop after a moment. He did just look so happy with the animal. "I've been trying to convince Anya to play with him but she's having none of it," he added with a laugh.
