Sage loosened his grip around Mari when he felt her roll back over, then retightened his grip on the woman, settling down with a soft huff of air now that he was back in the warm covers. Good....she hadn't gotten up. It was always nice to wake up with her there with him. He sort of drifted off again, coming in and out of that half asleep half awake stage after a bit. Not really waking up but getting around to it slowly. Well ...he'd get there eventually.

The woman felt a subconscious smile cross her face when he tightened his hold on her, soon enough moving to press a sloppy kiss to the top of her head as she slowly woke up. The kids would be okay, and the horses were out during the night so they'd survive another little while. Plus, they were warm and comfortable and she'd take any little bit of affection she could get.

Sage sort of just hummed happily in response to the girls kiss, even if it was a little sloppy. He just nestled his nose into her. A little bit more, relaxing as time went on. He was slipping back into sleep, really, but that was alright.....Mari didn't seem to be minding, and for whatever reason he was still tired. But the horses would be alright, and the kids didn't seem to need them at the moment, so there was no rush to get up.

The woman gave a small smile when she felt him relax, though shook her head and softly rubbed his shoulder. "Babe your horses are gonna be hating you," she mused softly to him before moving to gently run her hand up and down his arm, hoping to softly wake him up as best she could. She was still a little sleepy, but starting to wake him up now. She didn't really want to get up at all, so she was comfortable to get up as she could be.

Sage sort of grunted in response to the girl's comment, burying his face into her chest before settling down again. "They have hay, they'll survive," he huffed, his voice muffled from where he was pressed against his wife. He would have to get up soon...they both would, and that was fine, but for right now he was definitley still tired. there was no reason to get up right away, so he simply wasnt going to. The kids would get them if they needed them, and the horses did have hay, as well as water and such. Even Amber hadn't moved to wake him up yet, so it was fine.

The woman sort of chuckled gently when he just buried into her, softly running a hand through his hair. "They'll survive. You might suffocate if you try and burrow into me any more babe," she teased softly to the man before flopping back down on the pillow. She was certainly waking up a little bit now... still tried, but she was aware it was sort of late now.

Sage sort of just grunted in response to her comment, shrugging slightly after a moment. "There's worst ways to go," he noted with a sleepy chuckle after a moment, then huffing out a breath when she flopped over, and rolled onto his back, running his hands over his face in an attempt to wake up a little bit before peering over at Mari, definitely still groggily. The girl looked rather awake by now...and they did have to get up at some point, he knew that. He was just so cozy though, and tired, and he'd been enjoying his time. He'd enjoy the rest of his day too, of course, but still. Relaxing was nice.

Mari gave a little chuckle before shaking her head softly. "For you, maybe. I think if you just died on me I'd be a little upset," she mused before moving to peck his cheek with a thoughtful hum. He was still waking up, so sort of moved to press a light kiss to his lips. "Why don't you go get showered and dressed? I'll get breakfast... or brunch? Ready for you when you come down," she mused softly to him before pecking his lips again and quietly rolling out of bed to put some clothes on.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment, giving the girl a grin in response to her kiss, as he always did. He nodded in response to her suggestion, humming in agreement and moving to stretch slightly before shifting to where he lay around for a few more minutes before forcing himself up and out of bed. He showered quickly, before getting ready and then wandering downstairs, greeting the kids happily before pecking Mari on the cheek when she handed him his plate, sliding into his chair next to the kids, chatting with them as he started talking eagerly.

Mari padded downstairs happily, greeting the kids with a grin and going to put some tea on while she made some crepes up. The kids were alright... playing together happily. She hummed gently as she set the table, then offered Sage a grin when he pecked her cheek. Some enough, though, they'd all finished and Sage had gone out to do the horses. The kids didn't really have to do anything today, no schooling or anything. So she was happy to just let them mess around for a little bit while she cleared up.
