Sage just leaned into the wams touch, shaking his head slightly with amusement. "No, I don't suppose it would be. I know I certainly wouldn't choose to go scrub out the royal toilets. Especially knowing how much the king drinks," he noted with a sort of laugh. Though, when she agreed to come down to the barn with him, he nodded and pecked her cheek happily. "I'll let you know when I head out," he chirped. She hadn't been down there in a while, and while he knew the horses weren't her favorite animals in the world, he knew she lied to check in on things every now and again. Meet the new foals, that sort of thing. Though, at her next comments he sort of hummed and nodded. "she's getting better," he murmured. "Hopefully it stays that way once her parents do actually kick the bucket," he noted. Before wrinkling his nose when she mentioned being too old. "you're hardly into your thirties," he snorted. "besides, if I could figure out hobbies in my twenties while being kept in the doctor's ward of the castle, you can find something to do here once the kids get busy," he added lightly, really just teasing.

The woman groaned softly to him before shaking her head. "I wouldn't be going back there," she mused softly to the boy before pecking the side of his head when he leaned into her. "Well he certainly won't be drinking much anymore," she teased solemnly. A little smile crossed her face when he pecked her cheek, and sort of stood up again. She did like going out to see the horses every now and then. She didn't like much to do with them, but she liked seeing them out in the paddocks and such. She sighed softly st his next comment. "I hope you're right. If anything happens, it's going to be after the king and queen go," she murmured, her brows pinching together. "She's going to have to be with it then. Or there will be bigger problems she has to face," she added softly. She was a little worried about it... she didn't want anything going south anytime soon. She rolled her eyes at his next comment before shaking her head, a small laugh escaping her. "I used to have hobbies," she mused softly. "I can't do much now. I look after the kids, do a bit of paperwork and cook meals for us. The kids will be off to school full time soon, and I'm not gonna be left with much to do," she hummed softly, then raised a brow. "I was actually going to ask my mother about going to work at the bakery a few days a week... it'd just mean the kids get a bit of extra pocket money and we can put more towards the house. I mean, it's not like we're having any more kids anytime soon. I might as well do something," she mused.

Sage chuckled softly when his wife mentioned she wouldn't be going back to the castle, nodding along to her next comment. "No, I suppose not," he noted casually. He didn't much care if the king and queen were dying...but he did care about Anya, and while he wasn't exactly the royal couples biggest fan, he did hope their passing was peaceful at the very least, for all parties involved. "Yeah," he murmured softly when Mari mentioned them. "I just don't want her to start getting better and then crash when something else goes wrong," he sighed, shaking his head slightly. Though, when she mentioned possibly working at the bakery, he nodded with a sort of grin. "She'd enjoy that," he noted lightly, chuckling softly. He gave the girl a look of mock shock when she said they wouldn't be having any more kids. "What? You mean you didn't enjoy carrying around a human gremlin alien thing inside you for nine months," he gasped. "never would have guessed," he hummed, pretending to be thoughtful about it all.

The woman hummed softly, then shook her head. She was quite worried about what would happen in the following months. Sage was trying to help Anya, but the girl had been spoilt, and the people who spoilt her was dying. She had very little clue about how anything worked... it really did concern her. She was worried for their family. If the rebellion spiked again, they'd have problems on their land too. She just sighed and, patted his shoulder. "When the doctor knows they're gonna go, ask him to tell you first. You can brake the news to her gently... or gentler than he would anyway. It means she'll be more prepared when it actually happens," she murmured, then cocked her head at him to see if it was a good idea at all. "That way you can make the problem a straight line, rather than crashing and getting better again," she then added. She did hope it would make sense to him, at least. "You'll be there to fix everything, Sage. You always somehow fix everything," she mused playfully. She smiled when he thought her mother would enjoy her working with them. "I just means I can put a little money into the house and you can put more back into the horses," she chirped lightly. She then scrunched her face at him and gave a small chuckle, shaking her head at him. "I'm fairly sure I said we were done after Silas, you know," she mused lightly. "Then we had Lizzie... then we had a third for about three days and I was about ready to kill you, so I think two is our limit," she mused softly.

Sage pursed his lips slightly when Mari suggested he be the one to tell Anya the news of her parents passing. He nodded, humming in thought. "That would be best," he agreed. "Hopefully she'll be there to say goodbye before they do actually die," he added with a soft sigh. "Saying goodbye...helps," he added, sort of just thinking back to Liz. How much it had haunted him until he'd been able to go back and say bye properly. He'd said bye int he moment he'd buried her, of course, but it wasn't the same. He'd just wanted to join her then. He hummed lightly and nodded when she mentioned a little extra money, and grunted. "What about school," he asked after a moment. "Save up for when or if they want to go to the university?" it was expensive, and not many people went unless they had a pretty good income, but if they saved up they'd have enough. And it would be a priceless opportunity for the kids when they were older. At her comment about the kids, he couldn't help but chuckle and nod. "I was about to take your wrath gladly," he snorted. He was obviously mostly joking, but the though of loosing her and the kids, as well as the events that had led up to said child, had brought back some thoughts he wasn't exactly a fan of. It was only briefly of course, but still.

The woman gave a small nod of agreement to him before letting out a soft sigh. "They'll know, and she'll find out soon before," she murmured. It was a somber subject... she liked the queen, though right then was more worried about how the future queen would handle it all. It was a little scary to think about. How would the people handle it? That scared her too. She let out a long breath she'd been holding, then pinched her brows together. "School?" She hummed in thought. It would be a good idea. The kids needed a good life, and school would set them up for that... at least collage. If she'd gone to work they'd be in a spot where they could afford it, too. She gave a slow nod before smiling over at him. "That's a good idea," she mused lightly. They could put a bit a side every month, and when they were old enough to, they could go. She then gave a small chuckle, and pecked the side of his head. "You were very good about it all," she murmured gently.

Sage nodded with a sort of shrug when Mari mentioned they'd know. "She's hasn't visited them yet. I told her it would probably be a good idea if she sdid. Hopefully she'll go to say goodbye," he noted quietly before looking back at Mari and nodded when she asked about school. "of we start saving now we could send them," he noted. "Set them up for a good job and future." They'd have Maris status, social class wise, so they'd be fairly well off. He was certainly glad of it. At her next comment, about the baby, he chuckled softly and shook his head. "I didn't have much of a day in the matter," he noted. "I try not to think about it all too much," he admitted with a sort of shrug. It was a touchy subject, and he did wonder often how the child was doing. Where he was at, if he had a good family. If he'd made the right choice. He knew he did but ...he still wondered.

The woman hummed in thought before shrugging. "Maybe that should be your next venture," she mused softly. "Making her go visit them," she added with a little chuckle. She smiled at his next comment before nodding in agreement. "They'll have a good future," she chirped. She did like the idea of at least collage for them. They were going to school now, and Silas would start full time soon... she hadn't thought much past basic schooling, since that was more than what she or Sage had. But it would be setting them up well. She was determined to make sure they got every opportunity possible to them. She felt her brows furrow at his next comment, thorough, and moved to unwrap herself from him and pecked his cheek softly. "Babe you know you had a say in the matter," she murmured, then went to sit down. "We could always ask to go and visit him if you'd like," she murmured gently.

Sage sort of hummed and shook his head with a chuckle. "The sight of me would probably rouse them both from the dead," he noted with slight amusement. 'she said she'd go visit....I feel like that should be more of a family thing," he admitted. It wasn't really his place to be there, with them while she said bye. It wasn't his place to even know the royal couple were ill, really. No, him showing up in the room or dragging her to see them wouldn't help. That was something she had to do in her own time, when she was ready to do so. Though, he sort of hummed in response to her next comment, giving her a soft smile. "Oh, I know," he noted. "I made my decision." At her next comment though he let out a slow breath and shook his head. "I'm not sure I want to. Long as I know he's alright, that's as involved as I really want to be I think," he admitted softly.

The woman felt an amused smile spread across her face before shaking her head. "I mean telling her to go and see them. You and I both know she won't go over there otherwise," she mused softly. "You don't have to go in there with her at all... just encourage her to go," she then added. After a moment or two, she went to go and make two teas, then popped them on the table infront of him and plopped down on his lap with a soft sigh. She knew it was a sore subject for him... she just wanted him to know she didn't want to force him into anything. She wanted everything to be a conversation between them. She then gave a small chuckle. "That's fine. But if it were to set your mind at ease you know we can go speak to the doctor about it," she hummed gently.
