Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, nodding with a sort of shrug. "I suppose so," he agreed. He was glad that they'd gotten over that little go between them, and had settled into a relationship like this, where they still loved each other but just not as lovers. It was more of a family feel than anything. He moved to stand back up and wander after her once she got up, chuckling in response to her comment. "Nope, she's nice enough to let me have at least one friend," he joked, knowing Mari would let him have as many friends as he wanted. He just ...didn't want any. He was happy as is. "They're great," he noted fondly. "I can't wait to introduce them to you," he added with a chirp.

The woman sort of went to plop down at her desk after a little while, then looked over at him with a raised brow. "You walking me over there or shall I come down later?" She asked with a slightly cocked head. An amused hum escaped her and she sort of just shook her head. "Only one? A bit stingy no?" She teased before sort of stretching, then reaching for her pencil with a small huff of air. "I'm sure they'll be lovely," she eventually chuckled, shaking her head at the man's excitement about the whole thing.

Sage sort of hummed in response to her comment in thought before shrugging. "Whatever you decide you want," he noted, sort of drifting towards the door, knowing Mari probably needed to get back to work. "I'll be around....gonna go find att and see if he wants to mess about in with the horses for a bit," he explained with a shrug, opening the door and pausing to sort of say bye. "I'll pop in before I leave, see what you wanna do," he noted lightly before sliding out and closing the door, sort of just wandering around until he found att.

Anya gave a small smile, and nodded lightly. She'd probably take herself over there later on. She didn't want to intrude too much anyway. She nodded and waved him off after a little bit, a small smile across her face still. Atticus was already messing around in the barns by the time he saw Sage wander in. He was brushing Luther happily, the colt shedding his young coat and coming in with a sleek bay fur. He grinned over at Sage with a small sigh. "Afternoon," he mused with a bit of a grin.

Sage nodded and waved at Anya as he slid out the door, making sure it closed behind him before wandering down to the barns. He could hear the familiar snort of Luther, so he figured att would be down by the colt and wandered in that general direction. As he'd suspected, att greeted him and he gave the boy a grin in response. "You've gotten big, huh," he mused lightly when Luther nudged his shoulder with his muzzle, stroking the horses now almost adult like coat gently. "stopped by for a bit and figured we could do some work if you two were up for it," he mused, this time more directed at att.

The boy sort of chuckle, patting the young horses neck before slipping out the stable to grab a Pessoa for him. "More than up for it," he grinned. "He's been doing alright. Was wanting to start getting him girthed in a few weeks time," he hummed happily, leading the colt out the stable. (Sorry, I've been super busy recently)

(no worries so have I, you caught me at a good time lol) Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to the boys comments. "That would be a good idea," he mused in agreement. "The earlier they get used to things like that the better," he added, patting the colt gently. "He should be alright with blankets and things on his back, but I haven't girthed him yet," he noted with a nod. It would make atts first girthing easier knowing the colt would t freak out just trying to get the saddle on his back first.

The boy nodded in agreement, leading the colt out to the paddock with a small smile. "Well I suppose we can get something done with him now really quick? Might make things easier," he hummed as he grabbed a small surcingle. It was similar to a girth, really... much like the straps on a rug, wrapping around the horses while barrel. It didn't take that long for them to get the surcingle tightened and the colt trotting around happily.

Sage nodded with a grin in response to the boys comment, happy to work with the colt for a bit. "That sounds fine with me," he chirped, clipping a lunge line to the colts halter and then leading him out to the round pen, where att met them with the surcingle. He held the colt while he talked att through girthing him, using the surcingle as an example girth sort of thing, and then once it was on and the colt was standing there stiffly, unsure of what to do, he handed the lead rope over to att, instructing him on what to do. Luckily, after a few hops and stuff steps the colt figured out he wasn't dying and was moving about unbothered.

The boy did as he was told for a while... though, he didn't want to over do it and sour the colt, so when he saw him tiering he hummed and slowed him down to eventually pull him in. "I think that'll do him for today," he hummed happily, patting the colt and loosening the the surcingles before pulling them off. "Any said she was having dinner with you tonight," he chirped happily as he lead the colt back to the stables to brush off. "That could be fun," he chirped.
