Sage had hummed softly as he wandered around the store, looking at all their little treats. "Hell, I don't know," he groaned, with a quick head shake. "There's so much here and it all looks good," he admitted with a sort of chuckle. He stood there for a few more moments before huffing out a breath and turning so the tray was on his blind side, and pointed randomly in its direction. "Just get whatever I'm pointing at," he noted with a soft chuckle.

The woman looked over at him and gave a little nod, going to put some on a little bag. "You sure that's what you want," she asked with an amused hum, though then looked at some of the other sweets. They had some strawberry and cream sweets, which she always liked so chucked some of them on the bag too. She gently bumped his side with her hip before cocking her head. "Right, that's everything then," she chirped happily.

Sage sort of chuckled and nodded, peering into the bag to see what he'd got. They had Carmel on some, others had coconut inside them. A few others. A variety pack. That worked out well. "Yup," he noted lightly, grabbing a small bag of dark chocolate with the hum of, "for your family," and plopping it in the bag before moving to check out happily. "Off we go then," he chirped. "Where to next?"

Mari gave a soft smile when he looked in the bag, and rolled it up happily. "Perfect," she chirped to him. Though rolled her eyes when he asked her where she wanted to to next. "Sage you know just fine that I don't have a kind of my own and you have to make decisions for me," she mused lightly. She then looked at the empty glass she'd nicked from the restaurant. "I would like another drink though," she mused lightly.

Sage wandered out the door with her, arm looped around hers as per the normal. He chuckled softly at her comments before nodding lightly and wandering over towards the local bar. "We can get a drink and then go find somewhere to wander off to," he mused lightly. Even if it was just walking aimlessly around town....it would be nice.

Mari looped her arm through his as they wandered out the little shop, keeping her pace slow and steady as they wandered to the bar. "That's a good plan," she mused lightly. "Although, I'd rather not get lost trying to find somewhere," she added with a small chuckle. When he lead her into the bar, she plopped down at one of the stools so he could order.

Sage gave her a grin in resposne to her comment. "Oh please, we'll be fine," he mused lightly. They both grew up here....he'd literally lived on these very streets for the majority of his life. He knew perfectly well where he was going, and so did she. It was amusing to think she'd be worried about getting lost. Once he'd sat her down and they'd picked something out, he sort of wandered over to collect their drinks, moving to find her again and then plop down next to her, taking a sip of hers to try it before handing it to her with a light nod.

Mari wrinkled her nose at him before shaking her head. "I dunno Sage. I get lost trying to find the bathroom at home sometimes," she teased. She stayed seated while he went to grab a drink, raising a brow when he sipped at her drink. "Good?" She asked with an amused chuckle. She sipped at it herself before sort or pouting and popping it back on the table. She supposed it had been a while since she'd been out like this at all... so it was nice just to decompress a little.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment about getting lost, humming lightly and handing her her drink. "It's pretty good," he noted lightly, offering her a sip of his own drink after a moment or so, sitting down and just...relaxing a little bit. It was nice to be out about about, he could admit that. He made a mental note to take Mari out like this more often...get them out and about and spoil her a little bit.

Mari wrinkled her nose when she sipped his, then shook her head disapprovingly. "That's not good," she complained with an amused cuchle. She soon settled down, though, sort of leaning against the bar. She took a glance around... it was still pretty quiet. No doubt the place would fill up more the later it got. It was quite early into the night still. Only people that were here was older couples and people that definitely weren't old enough to be drinking.
