"No, it's fine" He muttered awkwardly before riding in silence for a few minutes

Josephine was silent, trying to figure out where things started going downhill and awkward. It was more than likely her fault... She shook it off as they came back to the barn where she dismounted from her horse. "It was nice riding with you.." She said softly, peering over at him from behind the saddle.

"Yeah, you too." He murmured, dismounting and untacking before going back to his room

Josephine sighed, not saying another word as she led Tobias away, untacking him and giving him a brush before putting him in his stall. She then left up to her room, craving a shower and dry clothes.

Caleb changed and sat on his bed, leaning against the wall as he flipped through tiktok and sat there with a bored look on his face

Josephine showered and put on fresh clothes before going back outside. She sat down on the porch swing again, scrolling through her phone aimlessly with a look of deep thought on her face.

Caleb got bored, popping on a sweatshirt and walking outside. He spotted Josephine and smiled softly. He walked over to her and smiled. "Mind if I sit with you?" He asked softly, his eyes meeting hers

Josephine hadn't notice him coming up, making her flinch a little as she looked up at him. However, when she met his eyes she relaxed and nodded with a smile. "Go right ahead," she told him, making a little room before gesturing to the spot next to her.

Caleb sat beside her, taking his eyes off of her with the fear of scaring her or making her uncomfortable with his eyes. He smiled softly and glanced at her phone. "What'ya watching?" He asked quietly

Josephine shrugged, tilting her phone towards him so he could see. "I'm not even really sure. I was scrolling without even thinking about it," she admitted. The video playing currently was some random thing about rodeos that had either already passed or might be coming up.
