Sage had wandered back down towards the girls room, knocking on the open door as he wandered in, joining her over on the balcony. "I'm heading off soon," he sort of hummed, leaning his forearms on the balcony, looking out over the yard. He always had liked it up here...you could see so far. It was almost like flying, in a way. You weren't really a part of the chaos of the world. You could just do your own thing. Odd, he supposed, but not unwelcome.

Anya looked over when she heard the door go, and gave a small smile before looking back out. She raised a brow when he said he was going to head off soon, and gave a soft hum in response. She looked out fo a moment or two before gently nudging him with her elbow with a small chuckle. "Can you see your house from up here?" She asked curiously. It was still so strange to her than he wasn't in the castle anymore... but more than glad for him. He had everything he wanted. He had his wife, his children... hell, he'd even somehow managed to gain a father, and a good one at that. It was all so strange, but definately good. "Once things settle down I'm going to come and visit you lot for a change," she mused lightly.

Sage sort of glanced over at her when she asked if he could see his house, and he squinted over the tree line for a moment before shaking his head with a chuckle. "It's behind the tree line," he noted. "But I can see the field behind it, and the barn," he added, pointing in the direction of the building, which looked so small from all the way over here. At her next comment he chuckled softly and shrugged. "You know you're more than welcome anytime," he noted with a sort of chirp. He was sure Mari wouldn't mind if Anya visited here and there...he'd help make dinner and such if she wanted, but she knew how close they were, and she did support it. So he didn't have any concerns.

Anya looked out for a moment, sort of quinting her eyes before humming lightly. "Oh yeah, I see it," she chirped lightly to him. She could see the land, anyway... it was kind of nice. It was so strange. I sounded bad, and she knew that, but she couldn't imagine living somewhere so... small. It probably wasnt, and they weren't always trapped inside the way she was, so it didn't have to be big, but it was an amusing thought all the same. She sighed after a moment, a small smole still across her face. She did want to see it sometime. "Once things settle down a little, I might come over," she hummed. She felt a yawn rise from her throat, and covered her mouth after a second. "I'm gonna have an early night," she muttered, rubbing her forehead slightly. "I'll see you soon?" she asked as she went to flop down on the bed.

Sage hummed happily when she mentioned she saw it all, nodding along. It wasn't much, really....but it was all they needed. They were happy there, very much so. But speaking of home ...he was about ready to go. No doubt Mari had dinner getting to be ready, and he could practically smell it now. So, when she yawned he chuckled softly and moved to stand up, giving her a sort of side hug and nod. "I'll be around," he promised lightly. "Want the light off," he added, pausing at the door, since the lamp was right there. When she agreed, he gave her a grin and turned it off, bidding her a goodbye before closing the door and moving to grab chaos and head back home.

Anya smiled and bid the man goodbye before settling down. They hadn't really said much... well, she didn't have much to say at all. She just couldn't comprehend saying anything of importance. It was nice to see him, though. She was sure Att was happy, too... the child loved that man more than anything. It was kind of crazy, actually. She used to be a little upset about it all, but again, the child wasn't hers, and the boy knew that. They both got over it fairly quickly, she supposed. . Mari just managed to get the children sat down at the table when Sage came through the door, and sort of grabbed him by the shoulders and forced him into his chair too while she brought plates out for them. When she finally got everything settled, she flopped into the chair and let out a soft sigh of relief before eating whatever she'd made. She sort of looked over to Sage with a cocked head, though. "You have a good time?" she asked lightly when the kids ran off to play a little more before it got too dark, and she wandered to do the dishes happily.

Sage had barely gotten through the door before Mari had grabbed him, and before he knew what was happening he'd been sat at the table. He couldn't help but chuckle softly and pat one of the hands that was still on his shoulder. "Hello to you too, dear," he teased her lightly, but moved to dig into the food once it was set down in front of him, definitely ready for a good meal by then. When Mari asked if he'd had a good time, he hummed softly with a nod. "Lutheran already taking a saddle well, so att and I have high hopes for the colt," he chirped lightly. "And I found Anya just...wandering around in the garden, so she's doing a lot better than before," he added. If something happened, he didn't think the girl would just fall apart anymore.

Mari rolled her eyes at his comment, but moved to hustle around the house dooon enough. She smiled gently when Sage started talking her about everyone. "Att is a good kid... he doesn't have any friends, mind, so the horse is all he's really got," she mused lightly, she cocked her head when he mentioned the princess . "Well, that's weird," she responded with an amused sort of laugh. She had to admit that she was a bit happier now that the woman was like... not destroying herself. Once they'd all finished and she'd washed up, she let out a soft breath and moved to flop on the couch with a happy huff of air.

Sage hummed softly with a nod, shrugging. "He spends most of his time down with the animal," he noted in agreement. "She seems to be doing better. Settling into things," he mentioned about Anya, just half the girl had been able to pull herself together and come out of this situation strong. At least..so far. Once Mari had moved to the couch, he wandered over to flop down next to her with a soft grunt, glad to be home.

Mari gave a small smile and moved to peck his cheek. "Well, you made the right choice giving him the colt," she chirped to him. She smiled when he sattled down next to her, she grinned and rested her head on his shoulder, her hand sort of playing with his collar. She cocked her head after a moment, though. "Is everything alright, then?" she asked softly. She was curious about the kind and queen... if he'd heard anything. It did worry her. She waited for his reply before wandering off to get the kids showered and to bed. It was late by then, so they were exhausted.
