Rose looked over at him and smiled, happy he was finally getting some well overdue rest. She walked over and sat down against the headboard. She reached over and played with his hair, watching him lovngly and protectively

Or,atleast,he was'nt having anything,yet.Caden was being drowned again,just as he could'nt do anything.A thin sweat broke out on his back,but other then that nightmare,he slept well.

Rose pulled out her phone and doordashed a lotus before going back to playing with his hair

He awoke at 50 until noon,late in the day.The shadows under his eyes had lessened,but not gone.His eyes fluttered open and he looked at Rose,slowly blinking. "Morning."

"Morning, handsome." She murmured, looking at him with a smile. "How'd you sleep, love?" She asked, happy he was up but also worried he would just work all day with her having nothing to do

"Slept pretty good.Nightmare only lasted a short while." He uttered quietly "Other than that I slept fine." He says,strecthing his arms and wrapping one around Rose.

Rose leaned into his arm, content. "Sorry you had a nightmare at all, handsome." She murmured, looking at him with a soft smile on her face

"It's fine.I'll be having them for a long while." He says,leaning his head on her shoulder.
