Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment, pecking her head lightly with a soft hum. "Well, give me at least five before to start giving up on me," he teased lightly, nudging her gently. At her next comments, he sorry if just rolled his eyes. "I like to think I'll be able to go do as I please until the day I die," he noted with a grin. "If I lose my mind you'll certainly have a hard job ahead of you," he added with a snicker.

Mari hummed softly at his comment, as though deep in thought. "Really? Five whole years?" She pouted, sort of flopping her forehead down on his chest. "That's a long time. You're gonna have to keep me entertained if I even consider keeping you around," she joked as she glanced back to him. She then pouted. "Do as you please? You can do as you please from your nursing home," she cackled as though it was some sort of evil plan. Of course, she'd never do anything like that, so she could tease. "You don't have much of a mind as it is," she huffed.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment, wrapping his arms snugly around her when she sort of flipped against his chest. "I reckon I can make it work," he hummed lightly, amusement lacing his voice. "Oh please, I'm very entertaining," he snorted. "Only, you're not as amused by my shenanigans as the kids are," he noted with a chuckle, pecking her head lightly. Of course, at her next comment he sort of wrinkled his nose at her. "I've got enough of a mind to support you and the kids, so I think I'm pretty well set," he chirped lightly.

Mari rolled her eyes at him, and sort of leaned up to press a light kiss to his lips before pulling back again. "I'm not amused by you doing stupid things just to make our children laugh, no," she chuckled lightly. "I am entertained when you try and joke around though," she giggled. She was worried that someday he'd end up really hurting himself... he was their only income at the moment, and while she knew she could go back to work full time if she had to, she wouldn't want to leave him alone if he was that bad. She would start looking for something, though, especially when she was getting so bored around the house. She huffed when he wrinkled his nose, and sort of ran a finger between his eyes and to the tip of his nose. "At the moment, maybe," she mused lightly to him.

Sage kissed the girl back before chuckling softly. "I dunno, it's entertaining for me," he noted lightly, crooked grin sprawled across his face. "You're entertained when you boss me around," he noted, poking her in a teasing manner. "I do believe you were quite happy with yourself when you told me to strip and I didn't argue," he added, still teasing the girl. When she moved her finger down his nose, he sort of crossed his eyes to follow the touch for a moment, humming in amusement and then looking back at her. "Let's hope we don't have to deal with that," he mused lightly.

Mari rolled her eyes. "Again, entertaining until you bend over and get struck like that," she mused. She sort of squirmed a little when he poked her, and gave him a playfully exasperated breath. Although, he wasn't wrong. She did rather enjoy the fact he'd just trust her so blindly. "I was very happy with myself," she giggled. "And you. You're far too trusting of me, Sage. You had no clue what I was planning and you didn't even question it," she sort of cackled. "I can't even imagine what was going through your head," she then added with a laugh. She could only grin when his eyes crossed, and sort of moved to peck the tip of his nose before sort of playfully pecking the base of his neck. "Not for a little while, at least. I need you here," she chuckled.

Sage chuckled at the thought of him getting stuck in a position somewhere, though it wasn't likely to happen. His bones liked to sing apparently, but he was still pretty fit all things considered. He liked to think he'd always be able to work in the barns and such. He hummed when she started talking again, snorting softly. "What would you do? Fuck me? You've done that plenty of times over, I doubt I'd have minded," he noted, eyebrows raising slightly. "Not much," he admitted, thinking back on it. "I just thought it was funny that's what came to mind when you were bored," he added lightly. Of course, her peck widened his grin, and he nodded slightly. "I don't plan on breaking down anytime soon," he noted.

Mari huffed out a soft breath and rolled her eyes, gently patting his chest. "Maybe, but I didn't," she mused lightly. Really, she could have done anything with him. It was at a point where if she asked him to jump off a cliff nice enough, she had full faith that he'd do it. The thought amused her, but she soon shook her head. "Who knows why. I have a super gorgeous husband, and a very willing one at that. Maybe I just find it amusing that he'd do quite literally anything I ask of him," she chirped. "Except when I ask him not to drag a horse into the house. That one isn't so great," she added with a small huff of air.

Sage chuckled softly in response to the woman's comment, humming along with a sort of nod. "That's not the important part I suppose," he mused with a grin. Though, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at her next comment, giving her an amused grin. "Maybe your super gorgeous husband doesn't care what he's doing as long as it makes his favorite woman ever happy," he noted, eyebrows raising slightly before snickering at her comment about the horse. "That only happened once," he protested with a laugh. "And nothing bad happened!"

Mari pouted at him curiously for a moment, then tapped his nose. "Don't roll your eyes at me!" She huffed to him, a playful frown across her face. "Especially when I'm being nice to you," she added with a soft laugh. She stuck her face close to his after a few second, her nose a little bit wrinkled. "Oh, am I your favourite woman ever now?" She asked playfully, although it all just mused her. "So I could tell you to do anything, is what you're saying," she giggled. She groaned when he mentioned the horse, though. "Sage it shouldn't have happened at all," she complained.
